Personal Reflection Exercises...I am firmly committed to staying active

and healthy.

I am firmly committed to stayingactive and healthy.

I remain lively and fit because I amdedicated to me.

Being dedicated and committed to myhealth assures me that I will remainhealthy and active throughout my life.

I appreciate and enjoy the conviction toeat healthy foods and exercise my bodyand mind. I also make sure I relax andde-stress. These are all measures I take toensure I stay active, healthy and happy.

I have a set schedule that includes anexercise regimen and proper foods to giveme plenty of energy. I feel stronger when Iexercise and I feel better when I have abalance of nutrients in my body. I enjoyfeeling good and I deserve to behealthy.

Sometimes it is difficult for me to go to thegym when I really would rather stay home,but I let go of these feelings because I amcommitted to myself. It is through thiscommitment that I ensure a better me.

Today I choose to remain committed tomyself and to my regimen of exercise andnutrition. I let go of the urge to skip myschedule. I let go of my urge to eatunhealthy foods. When I dedicate myselfto my commitments, I know that I willenjoy a healthy and active body for a longtime.

I deserve a healthy body and mind.

I am worthy of having a fit body and asound mind.

I am a good person who is worthy ofhaving a healthy body and a healthy mind.I am worth taking care of and I lovemyself enough to put my health first.

Just as I take special care of my family andeven my animals and plants, I take specialcare of myself. By taking care of myselfI will have more to offer others, but Ialso take care of myself because Ideserve to be healthy.

I make sure that my family has healthyfoods to eat, a clean house to live in, andclean clothes to wear. I listen to themwhen they talk to me. I provide my familywith healthy bodies and healthy mindsbecause I love them.

Just as I take care of my family, I choose totake care of myself, too. I make sure Ihave a clean house to live in, clean clothesto wear, and healthy food to eat. I spendtime relaxing and recharging my mindbecause I love me. I love me because Iam worth loving.

Today I will take an inventory of myselfand I will list the things about me that Ilove. I acknowledge my accomplishmentsand my traits that I enjoy. I give myselfcredit for being a strong, intelligent andcaring person who is worthy of a healthybody and mind.

holiday season.

I keep myself physically fit during theholiday season.

Staying fit matters to me. I make time forfitness even when my life is very busy.The holidays can be a busy time, but I stillhave plenty of hours in the day.

I get things done because they areimportant to my life. The things I do eachday have value and meaning to me. Staying fit is one of those things thatI value highly.

To stay fit, I make time for exercise. Iavoid changing my routine during theholidays. I can enjoy the holiday seasonand still keep my workout routine. Indoing so, I ensure my continued fitnessand good health. I make sensiblechoices during the holidays. I stop andtake time for myself when things start toget hectic.

Because I see the value of exercise, I makeit a part of my schedule. I encourageothers because I want them to succeed intheir fitness goals.

By working with others to help themmeet their fitness goals, I feelfulfilled. Seeing me fit and healthy makesothers want to work toward their ownfitness goals. I enjoy helping other people.

Personal Reflection Exercises...I take strides towards a healthy, vibrant lifestyle.

I take strides towards a healthy,vibrant lifestyle.

My ultimate goal is to lead anexciting, vibrant life, with stories of myadventures to pass down for generationsto come! I want to be the one to tell mygreat grandchildren about backpackingthrough Europe, exploring the Canadianwilderness, or swimming with thedolphins!

I know that taking care of myself andleading a healthy lifestyle is the first stridetowards achieving my goal. For thisreason, I choose to make my healthmy top priority.

I stay away from toxic chemicals andcigarettes. I paint my walls with low VOCpaint, use organic cleaning supplies, andburn only soot-free candles. Admittedly,these are small changes, but over thecourse of 50+ years, they can make a bigdifference in my health.

My diet is filled with veggies, fruits,legumes, and fish. Red meat is a treatthat I only indulge in on special occasions.My cravings for "bad foods" aredisappearing as I enjoy better health and

renewed energy from my healthy diet. Ifind just as satisfying healthy treats to taketheir place.

My exercise routine consists of a balancedmix of cardio and strength training.Varying my exercises each week isimportant because it keeps my routinefun and exciting. Pilates, boxing, running,biking, and other exercises are some of myfavorite regular activities.

Individually, these actions may seeminsignificant. But, when combined, theycreate effective strides towards my goal.

Today, I change my unhealthy habits infavor of longevity-promoting alternatives. Iincrease my lifespan and quality of life bymaking health-conscious changes.
