They are the same picture but there are different shadows.

Pg. 17 has some shadows to the left, and to the right, but pg. 16 is

in the lower area a bit towards the left, and one in the upper left.

Pg. 17 are two pictures of the moon pasted together.

The full moon photo is brighter then the regular moon photo.In the moon photo you can see more craters.

Only one side of the moon is shown.

Some parts of the moon are darker then others.

The sides of the moon are brighter than the middle.

Some of the craters have the same basic shapes (spheres).

maintaining a spin of its own. there are crators on the moon caused

 by metoriorites. Earth can only see one side of the moon. Americans

were the first to land on the moon. the moon is not as old as the

earth. the moon resets its cycle every month.
