I passionately believe, that as a teacher my role is to contribute to building intellectual and social

capital in all the young people in my care. I understand that this is integral to the development of the

whole child in our ever changing world. In order to embrace the challenges presented by this

knowledge I have, throughout my career, developed and delivered innovative and engaging lessons

and activities. A prominent feature of my teaching is the use of technology and looking at how this can

enhance the learning experience. I have a keen interest in learning technologies as a tool for helping

children to be ready for a future that doesn’t exist today. I believe my ability to build relationships with

children, parents and colleagues to be pivotal to my success as an educator to date, I have consistently

been able to support the most vulnerable children in school allowing them to achieve their potential.

My experiences across the key stages in educating children from 3 - 18 have enabled me to understand

the learning journey and help to equip those in my care to be successful lifelong learners.

MUSIC Piano | Bass | Drums | Music Production | DJ - having studied music at school I learnt to play various instruments as part of school bands. I learnt to DJ at university to earn some extra money and use music production to produce and master songs. 

TECHNOLOGY Web design | Coding | App making - I have developed numerous websites for schools and businesses through this I have learnt HTML code and javascript. As someone who utilises technology, I am always trying to find new and effective ways to make both my life and those around me easier.
