Scoring Breakdown

Composition/Battle Sportsmanship Painting

150 Points 30 Points 20 Points

CompositionA panel of judges will rank each list at the event from strongest to weakest, relative to each other lists at the event. On this basis a composition score will be assigned to your army. Scores will range from 0 to 5.

After each game, compare your score with your opponents. The person with the higher composition score should add the difference in scores, the person with the lower score will subtract the difference.

Note that, therefore your score each round will range between 0 and 30.

SportsmanshipAfter each game, players will be asked to answer 3 questions about youropponent;

1. Was my opponent's movement, line of sight determinations and dice rolls all clear and not rushed, obscured or otherwise?

2. Did my opponent play fast enough?3. Did my opponent and I sort rules queries amicably?

PaintingPainting and modelling will be scored in a number of ways. Each army will receive 20 points for being fully painted. Incremental penalties will apply for those not meeting these criteria.

At a minimum, fully painted means: 3 Colour minimum, no undercoat visible. Based and flocked (or similar). Movement trays (or similar) for units.

Hobby ExcellenceThis year we will be making a number of prizes available for those modellers, converters, painters (and hobby fiends) amongst us!

These will include prizes for conversions, modelling, displays, painting, theme and so on. These will all be completely subjective and seek to reward those that really go the extra mile with their army. We will also look at displays, books, props and anything else that adds to the flavour and theme of your army. Please bring these to our attention!

Players will only be eligible for these prizes for forces that they themselves havepainted.

MissionsGame 1 & 5 will play the Battleline scenario. Rulebook scenarios will be used for rounds 2, 3 & 4. These will be randomly determined prior to each round.
