What is Kaizen?
Kaizen Blitz• Although Kaizen is a way of thinking, not a single
tool, a Kaizen event “Blitz” is a focused effort in which a team works to improve a specific process.
• A Kaizen Blitz is a great way to identify risk, capture solutions and determine a plan to implement change.
Steps for Conducting a Successful Kaizen Blitz
1. Pre-Blitz Prep• Determine the key players
• Schedule the meeting• Ensure ample time is allotted
• Supplies:• Butcher Paper / Flip Pad• Sticky Notes• Markers
