In this project, you will edit slides in a presentation that describes the soca genre of Caribbean music. Modify the color and shape of the images and add audio. Next, edit a photo album depicting instruments used in the production of Cross Oceans Music recordings.

Open p05H_Caribbean_Music, and then save the file in your chapter folder as Lastname_Firstname_5H_Caribbean_Music Correct these errors:

• OnSlide3,thepictureofthetwodrumsshouldhavethecolorchangedtoGray–25%,Background color 2, Light, one of the Recolor choices. The picture should be Sent to Back.

By using the skills you practiced in this chapter, create the first two slides of the presentation shown in Figure 5.58. On the first slide, insert the picture p05I_Marimba.jpg.RecolorthepicturetoGray–80%,Backgroundcolor2,Light,and then add a picture effect of Soft Edges at 50 Point. Position the picture so the text can be read. Insert p05I_Salsa.wav with a trigger on the title—Salsa Music that is hidden during the slide show. On the second slide, add text as shown in Figure 5.61. Insert p05I_Dancer1.jpg, and then apply a Plaque shape to the picture and add a border. Resize picture and position as shown. Insert p05_Music_Video.avi as a linked video with a trigger on the dancer picture. Set the playback so the video will play full screen and is hidden while not playing.

Save the file in your PowerPoint Chapter 5 folder as Lastname_Firstname_5I_Latin_Album Insert p05I_Music.jpg on Slide 1, and resize and position the picture as shown. The picture will be distorted. Add titles to slides as shown.
