RUGBY TOURS FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
For your mini-rugby tour, we are determined to provide the rugby experience
that is right for your team. Whether it be one-off fixtures, round-robin matches
or entry into a tournament, or a mix of each, there are many combinations
available.
Our recommended fixture schedule would start with a round robin match with
two local clubs on the Saturday afternoon. We will take care of this on your be-
half. This would follow your activities on Saturday morning and allow plenty
time to enjoy your hosts hospitality in the early evening, before heading back to
base for Dinner.
Sunday would then coincide with entry to an existing mini-rugby festival at a
club near to your tour base or on the route home. These club-run events are
organised for the right reasons and are often of a far greater quality than tour-
naments arranged solely for touring teams.
The list of tournaments is enormous, however, we have put together a directo-
ry of existing Mini Rugby Festivals that we feel will be a fantastic addition to
your tour. See Page 8 for more details.
TRAINING with COACHING from THE PROSTRAINING with COACHING from THE PROS
What better highlight of a tour than to see your team put through their paces
by a Premiership Rugby Coach? Clubs like Leicester Tigers & Sale Sharks run
exceptional community programmes that allow for young players to live the
professional life for an afternoon.
While packages vary from club to club, the training session will follow a tour of
the stadium, some giveaways, a Q&A with a 1st XV player or two and finish
with tickets to a Premiership Match.
Prices range from £25-£40 depending on the host club and the package chosen,
but we highly recommend this as a valuable highlight to your mini-rugby tour.
You’ve played your games, you’ve tired yourselves out with late nights and ac-
tivities, what better way to relax and finish off the tour than to take your seat in
one of British Rugby’s iconic stadia and watch the heroes in action?
From Sale Sharks to Leicester Tigers, we are able to arrange match tickets for
your group to a number of Premiership Match fixtures. Prices for Premiership
matches do vary.
We recommend booking early to ensure availability. Click here to see the full
2014/2015 Aviva Premiership schedule or see the Lancashire & Lincolnshire
Pages for the games which tie in with those two tour destinations.

YOUR TOUR REPYOUR TOUR REP
When you arrive at your tour location, you will be met off the coach by a group of ex-ceptionally enthusiastic team-leaders.
Throughout your stay, you will have their dedicated attention and commitment to offering you a high quality and fun-filled stay while on tour.
Your team-leader will be your point of contact at the centre throughout the weekend, and they will keep you informed as to your activities, meals and departure times.
The team leaders will also remove all the stresses from being a parent while on tour. Once the kids are in their company, the parents can relax, kick-back and enjoy the tour as much as the children.
“This was the first experience of tour for the boys. They had a great time which was made possible by the PGL staff, the tour planning and our fantastic hosts at Hove RFC
and Worthing RFC. I would thoroughly recommend Sky High Sports.”
IAN THOMPSON, BRENTWOOD RFC U11, SUSSEX TOUR 2014
“The staff were friendly and polite, and our rep Jack was an absolute cracking lad who couldn't do enough for us.”
HANNAH FOUNDS, WIRRAL RFC U11, SHROPSHIRE TOUR 2014
“The PGL staff were without doubt the making of the trip, nothing was to much trouble with activities changed at last minute to suit preference on the day. The group appoint-ed leader 'Ali' not only looked after the boys at the allotted times, he also came back on
duty for a midnight walk so the parents could enjoy a few extra beers!”
STEVE HICKS, OLD RICHIANS RFC U11’s. SHROPSHIRE TOUR 2012
Your JOB AS TOUR CHIEFYour JOB AS TOUR CHIEF As a Party Leader and accompanying adult you have a number
of responsibilities that will assist in ensuring your stay is both
successful and enjoyable.
Previous groups bad-behaviour has resulted in the removal of
two of our more popular locations which is both disappointing
for ourselves but also future groups. We must stress that while
this is a superb tour, it is a Mini Rugby Tour for 6-12 year old
children and families, not an 18-30 holiday destination.
We would like to draw your attention to, and ask for your assis-
tance with, the following areas:
The Party Leader is in loco parentis, and responsible for the control, discipline, behaviour and pastoral care of the group at all times.
A responsible adult from your group is required to attend specific activity sessions to provide additional supervision of waiting participants. Your team-leader will provide further information on this.
At least one responsible adult from your group should be on centre and contactable at all times.
Whilst the Instructors are responsible for the safety of guests during activity sessions, accompanying adults have the ulti-
mate sanction to withdraw any member of the group at any time from activity sessions.
The Duty Staff will support you in supervising the accommo-dation area until an agreed time. After this time the responsi-bility for supervising your group lies with the Party Leader and accompanying adults.
The Party Leader is responsible for notifying parents of any doctor, dentist, hospital visit or other incident affecting a member of your group.
In the unlikely event of a fire or evacuation, we will request all accompanying adults assist with evacuation, role calls and visual checks of persons present at the relevant meeting point.
To assist in the smooth running of the shop we would appre-ciate it if you could accompany your group during their visits.
The Party Leader and accompanying adults are responsible for ensuring that your group adhere to the centre Code of Conduct.
If the behaviour of your touring party is deemed inappropri-ate by our suppliers and results in loss or damage to Sky High Sports future dealings with them, appropriate compensation will be sought and the Rugby Football Union will be informed immediately and instructed to act accordingly.

Our centre in Lincolnshire is spread across 50-acres of stunning grounds surrounding a Grade II Mansion House that is the centre of everything during a stay here.
A recent £5 million investment in accommodation, activity facilities and dining restau-rant has transformed the Lincolnshire venue into one of the most high quality all-in-one centres in the UK.
Built in 2009, 2-6 bedded en-suite wooden lodges will be your accommodation for the weekend, with plenty modern and comfortable rooms for Mum and Dad as well as the players.
The centre boasts a purpose built lake for raft building and kayaking; a fantastic mo-torsports track and reputedly the best Go-Ape style high-ropes course in the country.
Located just an hour from both Nottingham and Leicester, and little over two from Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and London, the site in the Lincolnshire country-side is accessible for a host of teams across the country.
The Notts, Lincs & Derby region of England is filled with some great traditional Rugby Clubs. Close by, Stamford RFC, Boston RFC , Spalding RFC & Dinnington RFC all run excellent annual mini rugby festivals.

In 2015, they host Sale Sharks on 28th February, Exeter Chiefs on 28th March and

ACTIVITY INFORMATIONACTIVITY INFORMATION
The activities listed in this brochure make up an integral part of a mini-rugby tour with Sky High Sports. They don’t just
keep you busy and fill-time, the are a fantastic way to build confidence, increase team morale, have some fantastic fun
and most of all, tire the kids out so the parents can be free in the evening!
For every activity session booked during the tour, you must pick a wish-list of four activities from the list provided.
From here, we will develop a schedule that allows all tour members, parents included, to enjoy at least two of the cho-
sen activities. Your party will be split into small activity groups ahead of the tour to cut down on faffing-about at the
centre. Once on site and ready to go, the superb centre staff will lead the way. Enjoy!
Abseiling
Got a head for heights? This exhila-
rating activity allows you to scale
down the side of our purpose built
towers leaving you with a great sense
of achievement.
Aeroball
A cross between trampolining and
volleyball! Use the bounce from the
trampoline to stop your opponents
scoring goals whilst trying to score
some yourself. Very energetic!

Most centres have loads of different
ball sports available – everything from
basketball and volleyball to football
and lacrosse.
BMX
Test your skills and learn some tricks
on our track and try a couple of jumps
as well.
Camp Craft
Build a bivvy and learn to make a
campfire along with other basic sur-
vival skills.

instruction. This is a favourite!
Cat Walk
A test of nerve and agility as you take
on a cunningly devised combination of
increasingly difficult balances, climbs
and wires across a high level course.
Challenge Course
A challenge of obstacles to climb over,
crawl under and balance on! Oh and
don’t forget the mud!
Circus Skills
Diabolo, juggling and more – it’s hard-
er than it looks you know!

We have challenging indoor and out-
door climbing walls with the reassur-
ance of a safety rope at all times!
Cycle Trail
Some of our centres are located close
to well known cycle trails.
Dragon Boating
Your instructor will helm this 12 seat
dragon boat. You’ll all need to pull
together to make sure your boat wins
the race!

Qualified instructors teach you the
basic principles of this Olympic sport
before allowing you to compete by
attempting to outwit your opponent.
Often overlooked in favour of others,
this is certainly work a try.

Your friends winch you up on a giant
two sweated swing suspended be-
tween a huge timber structure and
you see how high you dare go before
you choose to release the catch and
experience a huge rush as you swing

A challenge course in the sky! A popu-
lar and exhilarating activity - you will
negotiate the obstacles high up in the
air – you’re secured to a safety rope
but do you dare?

Working in small teams, you will need
to solve puzzles, make decisions and
communicate with each other in order
to complete the task.
Kayaking
Have a splashing time learning to kay-
ak on either a lake, river or the sea,
depending on where you stay.
Low Ropes Course
A series of challenges just off the
ground. Can you make your way
around the course blindfolded with
only your teammates’ instructions to
guide you?

Motorsports
Take control of a quad bike, go-kart or
motorbike and blast your way around

on the ground but you might leave
your stomach at the top!
Raft Building
Build your own raft from different
components that will float and steer,
then test it out on the river or lake.
You and your team mates will need to

RUGBY TOURS FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
GRAND DESIGNS Teams compete by designing and building something using a set of raw materials: e.g. newspaper and tape to build a shelter or high tower; crates, poles and rope to build a chair. Teams can “earn” more material by com-pleting further challenges or forfeits during the activity. SCRAPHEAP CHALLENGE Guests take part in activities and chal-lenges to gain points (cash, points, credits etc.) which can later be ex-changed for scrap – which will be needed to build their device. These devices include something to protect a fragile object when dropped from a height (egg or water balloon), a bridge to support a cup or bucket of water, a boat to transport an object on water, and so on. QUIZ In teams, students are set Q&A-style challenges with lots of interaction and plenty of variety to keep them moti-vated and to maximise their participa-tion. As well as general knowledge, rounds may include dressing up, danc-ing and miming. CASINO NIGHT For older participants, this programme offers a selection of fun, casino-themed games which explore areas such as calculated risk taking, choice, disguised numeracy learning and self discipline.
CLUEDO Based on the murder-mystery board game, the aim is to work out the mur-derer’s identity, the location and the weapon used to commit the staged crime. Staff and adults join the role play as characters around the centre. Participants will be involved in various challenges involving problem solving and investigation. MONOPOLY Based on the well known board game, guests work in teams to move around centre, completing challenges and tasks in order to win Monopoly money so they can buy properties. Challenges include gargle-a-tune, charades and limbo. PASSPORT TO THE WORLD Guests are given a list of national flags to find around centre. Each flag has a question relating to the country, which must be answered correctly before moving on to find the next flag and eventually returning to base. SUMMER FAIR In the style of a traditional Summer Fair, students visit different locations and stalls on-site, play the games – such as Boules, Skittles, Coconut Shy and Splat the Rat - and win points or prizes. AMBUSH A fun outdoor activity based on hide-and-seek but on a much larger scale.
Guests have to work together to plan tactics and lay markers. Bonus points are available for ‘ambushing’ the op-posing team. CAPTURE THE FLAG This is an inclusive, high energy game in which teams work together to cap-ture the opposing team’s flag, whilst avoiding being captured or losing their own. The key to the game is pre-planning, communication and team-work. The team capturing the other team’s flag wins. WACKY RACES Your own Olympics - a collection of fun relay-style team and individual games designed for active participa-tion by all team members. CAMPFIRE Around a suitable campfire setting, the group will learn new songs, play games, take part in challenges, display talents and set - or reflect on - aims and objectives for the week. CENTRE STAGE Small groups plan and rehearse acts to perform “centre stage” which are then judged by “celebrity” judges (teachers, staff or other guests). All children should be included in some way in this event. You may wish to make this part of your pre-travel planning and for chil-dren to plan and rehearse their per-formance.
Following the action packed days on-site, it doesn't finish once Dinner is served. Until 22:00 each evening, the kids can
be entertained and supervised on activity by the magnificent centre staff. As with the day-time activities, please select
three of the options below as preference for your teams evening entertainment.
All these activities will provide fun learning opportunities for all members of your group. Programmes include a mix of
activities with different outcomes and we recommend that you choose one programme for each evening of your stay.
Parents are encouraged to participate with the evening activities. This is a great opportunity for the party to bond as a
group - that is Mum, Dad, Brother & Sister! If it isn’t up your alley, then why not take refuge in the on-site bar? The
Evening Activity of choice for many of our tourists! Don’t go too daft though!

THE SKY HIGH SPORTS: THE SKY HIGH SPORTS: THE SKY HIGH SPORTS: ROLL OF HONOURROLL OF HONOURROLL OF HONOUR
Throughout your tour, the entire party will be treated to full-board treatment.
To be specific, an evening meal will be served on the night of arrival, followed
by breakfast on each morning of the tour. Lunch will be provided either on site
on the first full-day on-site and topped up with some good old rugby-club-grub
after your tour match. The lunch can be re-jigged elsewhere in the itinerary to
fill a gap - a popular choice is lunch immediately following arrival on Friday
afternoon.
Whilst we are not saying the food is that of a Michelin Starred Restaurant, you
will be surprised by the freshness, quality, amount and variety available at each
centre. Each Dining Hall operates like a school canteen. You will be given a
timeslot to enable you all to be seated together - after that, it is simple!
With a big focus on local-produce and healthy eating, breakfast consists of a
good hot and cold buffet with fruit, cereals, juice and some heartier platefuls
available. At Lunch, you can choose from a make-your-own sandwich bar, salad

From the first contact with Richie, right through to getting off the bus when we
arrived home, the experience was brilliant. Well managed and organised with
loads to do. We will be recommending the service to other clubs in the area and
hope to travel with you again.
JO THOMAS, CAERPHILLY TIGERS RFC, SHROPSHIRE, APRIL 2014
From the minute our coach driver picked us up at the club we all thoroughly en-
joyed ourselves. It was the boys first tour and they had good fun. Thanks
SAMANTHA COWLING, DISS RFC, LINCOLNSHIRE, APRIL 2014
We had a fantastic time on tour. The room set up when we got there was great,
set away from other groups so we could be a little noisy if we wanted to. The staff
were friendly and polite, and our rep Jack was an absolute cracking lad who could-
n't do enough for us. The Rugby itself the teams we played virtually matched us in
skill which made for some great rugby. The hosting teams were exceptional. Food
at the accommodation was good, no one went hungry. All in all though a fantastic
tour.
HANNAH FOUNDS, WIRRAL RFC, SHROPSHIRE, APRIL 2014
Windmill Hill was a lovely location and a huge improvement from our original site
we were going to in Kent. The boys had a fantastic experience and were looked
after brilliantly by our hosting Rugby clubs.
The raft building was great fun and we had warm sunny weather to make the
weekend even more memorable. The accommodation was perfect for our team
and the boys were able to bond together and enjoy their weekend.
Overall a great time was had by all and winning the trophy on the last day was a
fantastic end to a hard season.
STEVE PRATLEY, ESHER RFC, SUSSEX, MAY 2014
Banbury U14s had a fantastic tour to PGL Osmington Bay, organised by Sky High
Sports. Boys and adults alike enjoyed the PGL activities, and we had a 5-way rugby
tournament at Dorchester, which was very well organised. Really comfortable, new
bedding! Many laughs throughout the weekend... and even the weather was great.
Would strongly recommend.
CLARE WOOD, BANBURY RFC, DORSET, MAY 2014
So many happy faces. I got so many thank yous' for a fantastic time. The PGL cen-
tre and staff were excellent, it was very kind of Peterborough RFC to coincide their
beer festival with our tour, and Dinnington RFC run an excellent Minis Festival.
With our dedicated fund raising we got the cost per head down for a fully catered,
fully transported weekend including the activities. Excellent value and not a hitch.

Sky High Sports is delighted to work with BLK Sport, one of the most dynamic rugby-specialist apparel brands in the UK. BLK arrived in Europe from Australia with a bang in 2012, and is already the brand of choice for Stade Toulousain, The Ospreys & Connacht. Their range of stash is exceptional, their prices as good as it gets and their bespoke de-sign-your-own facility leads to limitless options. BLK isn’t just a name, it’s an attitude driven by a deliberate and defining insight - that nothing new ever comes from the known; that real innovation, real design and real im-provements in performance come only from operating outside the boundaries of every-thing that’s gone before. This absolute refusal to merely repeat or refine the past but to relentlessly push beyond all limits known, is a philosophy instilled in BLK from its early beginnings as KooGa Aus-tralia. Today that philosophy is reflected in the ground-breaking training gear and performance apparel worn by over 4,000 teams around the world, including national representative sides such as the Manu Samoa Rugby Union, Fiji Rugby Union & USA Rugby.

HOW TO BOOK HOW TO BOOK HOW TO BOOK YOUR MINI RUGBY TOURYOUR MINI RUGBY TOURYOUR MINI RUGBY TOUR Let Sky High Sports take the strain and hassle out of organising your MINIRUGBY TOUR – we will help you construct a tour that is specific to your requirements and tailored to your team. Once you are happy with your tour we will re-quire a deposit of £25 per person within 28 days. Payment can be made by BACS Transfer or Cheque. To help spread the cost, the final balance can then be split over two equal payments. The first will be due 42 days following the de-posit, with the final payment due no later than 42 days prior to the tour. Once we have your deposit you will receive paperwork to complete. This includes:
A detailed booking form specifying all inclusions in the tour package. After reading through our Terms & Condi-tions, please sign and return the booking form. This will form a contract between you and Sky High Sports.
A simple spread sheet that requests the necessary passenger information such as name, date of birth, and existing medical conditions. We will also ask you to tell us about each persons relation to the group. This will enable us to plan the ideal room allocation for your tour party.
An activity preference form. With so many to choose from, we need to know which activities your group would like to enjoy.
A questionnaire that will enable us to arrange the ideal level, number and type of Sporting Fixtures for your team while on tour.
Between the time of booking and departure day, your dedicated tour manager at Sky High Sports will maintain a regu-lar contact to ensure we have the correct information from you, and that you are aware of the development of the tour. Where appropriate, face-to-face meetings will be preferable to achieve this. Then, six weeks ahead of the tour, a full and confirmed itinerary including the key contacts, an hour-by-hour schedule and a detailed guide will be sent to you. At this stage however, subtle changes may be made to the itinerary.
