Conservation of energy resources Energy conservation is a very important part of energy planning and its management. Earth can be grouped into renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. Sun, wind and water are the renewable energy sources. The sun can provide us with a continuous source of energy that does not cause pollution. Hence, we can use the solar energy that comes from the sun in our life. The wind can be used for pumping water, moving yacht and spinning windmills and the water can produce hydroelectricity. We should use these energy sources to avoid the cause of pollution. If we use the non-renewable sources of energy profusely, it will cause the serious pollution. Conserving energy is important to prolong the use of non-renewable sources of energy and to ensure that the existing sources are used widely and thriftily to avoid wastage. It not only saves energy resources for future, avoids wastage, but controls environmental degradation and pollution. In our everyday life, we must use and manage the energy resources efficiently. Instead of using incandescent bulbs, we can use compact fluorescent bulbs. They use only one-fourth the energy of the former and last 8-12 times longer. Instead of taking the car for every occasion, we can walk, take the bus or train, or join carpools. We can also use soybeans to produce biodiesel. Biodiesel can be blended with regular diesel fuel or used all by itself to fuel tractors, buses and trucks. These types of energy are

These types of energy are friendly to our environment and help us reduce our dependence on fossil fuels such as oil and coal, which cannot be replenished.

For our beautiful homeland, we must do some efforts to save the energy sources of the Earth.
