Tipul 1:- o condiţie reală, viitoare sau generala, care exprimă o situaţie, viitoare sau generala, care exprimă o situaţie anticipată sau posibilă

Într-un moment viitor:Ex. We’ ll leave tomorrow if the weather is good.

(vom pleca mâine daca vremea va fi bună)În general:

Ex.If Imake a mistake the teacher always finds it.(Daca fac o geşeală, prof o găseşte mereu)

Tipul 2:-o conditie ireală, prezentă sau viitoare, care se referă la:O situatie imaginară contrară unei

Realităţi prezente:Ex. If the weather were better, we could go for a walk.

(Daca vremea ar fi bună am putea face o plimbare)O situatie improbabilă într-un moment viitor:

Ex. If I had the day off tomorrow, I would go to the beach.(Daca as avea zi libera maine, m-aş duce pe plajă)

Tipul 3:-o conditie ireală trecută, contrară realităţii într-un moment trecut:

Ex. If the weather had been better, I would have left last Monday(Dacă vremea ar fi fost mai bună, aş fi plecat lunea trecută)
