certified Green Factory.

Crosswear Industries Ltd. started its journey in 2006- as readymade garments

manufacturing company. Now it becomes one of the leading readymade garments

manufacturer & exporter in the country. All this success has been possible due to the hard

work of its skilled manpower who accomplish their task in due time with direct guidance &

dynamic leadership of the Managing Director of the company.

To ensure good quality of the product, from the beginning of the company we use high

quality machineries and equipment’s. At the same time all our operator are fully skilled to

produce any kind of knit items. Crosswear is fully aware about the short lead-time of the

apparel-industry. Considering this we prepare ourselves to meet the deadline of our

Crosswear has been awarded OEKO-TEX standard 100 certificate in 2011 and since then it

renew its certificate in every year which establishes itself as a OEKO-TEX certified company.

Crosswear is comply with the BSCI & SEDEX social compliance standard and also got

GREEN in ACCORD building safety standard. So, it has emerged as a compliant and

customer focused organization.

Design & Development:

Without sampling one can never go for perfect garments. That’s why we give a definite

concern in this regard having an individual sample division. One skilled Pattern Master

carries out the division with one Asst. Pattern Master, one Supervisor, 2 QCs, 15 very

efficient sample-men and 6 helpers.

We restructured our sample division into a Design & Development Unit. This fully fledged

section headed by an expert Pattern Master/Sample In-Charge prepares its own seasonal

collection according to the latest market trends with the help of his team and latest

Our Sample Section is fully equipped with automated CAD machine with highly

experienced Cad operator and all the required auto sewing machineries. Our expert Design

& Development Dept. can develop any kinds of knit items as per Client requirement.

Quality Control & Assurance:

At our factory, we realize that the trust, confidence and commitment depend on a reliable

flow of quality raw materials. To produces high quality world class knit garments, we give

equal emphasis on our back end supply chain. We use high quality yarn, supplied by

reputed yarn manufacturer, for knitting the fabrics and the sewing department is strictly

controlled by highly qualified QC team.

Quality is our prime concern, we never compromise with quality. We tried to keep the best

quality according to our clients requirements. We have a skilled and efficient quality unit.

Units are divided into three units.

1. Fabric/Knitting & Dyeing Quality Unit

2. Printing & Embroidery Quality Unit

3. Cutting Quality/Line/Finishing & Audit team.

Quality means customer needs is to be satisfied. Failure to maintain an adequate quality

standard can therefore be unsuccessful. But maintaining an adequate standard of quality

also costs effort. From the first investigation to find out what the potential customer for a

new product really wants through the processes of design, specification, controlled

manufacture and sale.

There are a number of factors on which quality fitness of CROSSWEAR INDUSTRIES LTD is

based such as - performance, reliability, durability, visual and perceived quality of the

garment. Quality needs to be defined in terms of a particular framework of cost.

At Crosswear Industries Ltd quality control is practiced right from the initial stage of

sourcing raw materials to the stage of final finished garment. We do not compromise with

quality. Our first priority is to ensure quality in each & every step of Production.

Work Place Environment: As a responsible apparel producer, Crosswear Industries Ltd provides employees a work

environment high above the law-required level. Crosswear Industries Ltd.

installed and has updated lighting, ventilation and ergonomics of

its all production floors using latest technologies like bus bar for electrical fitting,

overhead mirror reflectors for lamps, forced duct ventilation and

so on.

The goal is to exceed requirements of local legislation and reach

the global standards, and thereby support clients’ images and

sourcing principles.

Clearly demarcated emergency routes & exits, smoke & fire

detectors, consciously designed working lay-outs ensure a safe

workplace for workers. As per BSCI, SEDEX & ACCORD requirements, instructions and

warning signs are posted in highly visib le p laces,

inside the factory in English & in local language (Bangla).

Moreover, usage of metal hand gloves in times of fabric cutting, needle

guard in time of sewing and all other PPE should use by the respective workers to reduces

significantly work-related accidents in the factory.

Our motto is to ensure safe and healthy work place for all. Our whole factory premises is

fully equipped with fire rated construction. Fire doors has been installed in all exit points

and addressable fire detection system has also been functioning to tress the source of the

fire at its initial stage. And all other necessary Fire fighting equipment's is also installed as

per the guideline of ACCORD and as per global standard.

We strictly maintain standard working hour as guided by Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and

Bangladesh Labor Rules-2015.

Work Place Environment:

Wages & Benefit:

We strictly ensure the minimum wages and other benefits as per the new garments pay

scale declared by the Minimum Wage Board of the Bangladesh govt. We strongly follow

new pay scale of the Minimum Wage Board to pay wages and other benefits.

Beside this, we pay employees salary and wages within 7 working days after end of every

month. (i.e: Salary of “November” should have pay within first 7 working days of

December)

Forced Labor :

Forced labor is strictly prohibited in our factory. All the employees are fully free to do their

works.

We have a written policy on no use of forced labor.

We do not keep any original documents from the workers such as passport, NID card,

educational certificates etc.

Non-Discrimination :

There is no discrimination on religion, sex, race, caste, disability, political affiliation in

Crosswear Industries Ltd. We have a written policy on non-discrimination.

Workers Welfare:

Workers welfare is our top most priority. Our workers are our heart. We believe if workers

are well company will be well automatically. To ensure the welfare of our employees we

strongly maintain below issues;

House Keeping:

House keeping is very important to ensure healthy workplace. Crosswear Industries Ltd.

has strong House keeping team who are well aware about the necessity of good house

keeping and they continuously do their work to keep the factory clean & tidy.

Workers Welfare:

First Aid & Emergency Medical Treatment :

A full-time nurse and a doctor are engaged in the factory to look after the employees’

health & safety during the working hour. In addition, we have a person trained in first aid

and Medicare for every 50 workers. We keep certain quantity of medicine of different types

in first aid boxes in each floor for employees to use as first aid.

Beside this, we have contract with different Hospitals like; “Enam Medical College &

Hospital”, Lab Zone Hospital, Prime Hospital in Savar for any kind of Medical emergency.

Our medical team is always ready to handle any kind of medical emergency cases.

Maternity Benefit :

We provide Maternity Benefit as per the guideline of Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and

Bangladesh Labor Rules-2015 to all the eligible employees.

Day Care Center :

Crosswear Industries Ltd has a well furnished Day Care Center where employees can keep

their kids while they are working in the factory. The center is well furnished as well as

highly maintained by Child care governance.

Pure Drinking Water :

We better understand that pure drinking water is very important for healthy life. That’s why

we ensure pure drinking water facility for our employees throughout the factory premises.

We installed water filtering machine to all our floors so that our employees can get pure

drinking water easily.

Safety & Integrity:

Crosswear Industries Ltd. strictly adheres to ethical business-practice. It carries out

compliance as a continuous process, and exceeds local legislations

to meet ILO convention in terms of employment practice and

safety. Its Compliance Management Team monitors and reviews

the various activities performed throughout the organization.

Considering workers safety measures we took initiatives to install Fire Door and
