COMMUNITY OF CARE WEEK ONE – FEBRUARY 3, 2016

REMEMBERING    MEN  &  WOMEN  IN  THE  MILITARY  Dakota Klump, nephew of Norma See, is in the United States Navy, Division 15-67, Great Lakes, Illinois. Pvt. 2 Curtis Simmons, Jr., Brenda Brown’s nephew, is serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Wainwright , Alaska. Lisa Hilbrands, daughter of NLCC missionaries Ron and Nancy Hilbrands (Mission Aviation Fellowship), is stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas serving in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. Capt. Mike Miersna, son of Harry and Pat Miersna (SIl/RCA), is stationed in San Diego as a Marine Corps Osprey pilot and squadrom family readiness officer.

Terry and Sue Andrews ask for prayer for their friend Mark, who will undergo intensive cancer surgery on Tuesday. Pray for wisdom for the doctor and healing for Mark and his family. Walt Bouwman spent several days in the hospital last week for a urinary tract infection. He is home now . Pray for healing and a quick recovery for Walt. Harold and Bea De Bie thank you for your prayers on behalf of their friend, Coach Jack Walvoord at Central College, who had heart surgery and needs healing for his heart and kidneys to function properly. They are requesting prayer for Ester Korszyk, who is having uterine cancer surgery, as well as for her husband , Chaplin John Korszyk, of

Shirley Watkins had her last trip to Cedars Sinai and the doctor is pleased with her progress. Thanks to all of you who have kept her in your prayers. Continue to pray for the following members and friends of the New Life Family dealing with ongoing serious health issues: Roberta Brown, Freddy Cortes, Chet Droog, Jan Kailola, Mike May, Kaaren Mitobe, Charles Presley, Dawn Rush, Teri Shedarowich, and Melinda Wilsey.

Kaiser Hospital and the entire family as they wait for God’s plan. Phil Hickok will have an angiogram on Tuesday to determine whether he will need surgery on a possible heart valve replacement. Keep Phil in your prayers. Ann Marie and Geoff Shaw ask for prayer for their friend Patricia, who lost her father. Please pray for strength and comfort for Patricia. Rod Baker lost his father. Pray for the entire family. Their friend, Sammy, needs prayer for healing in his shoulder . Ann Marie and Geoff ask us to keep them in prayer as they journey to become closer to God.
