Adding Accounts About this guide Important information Before you start 1. Open your internet browser, visit commbiz.com.au and log into CommBiz using your password AND your token password from your security token. 2. On the top menu, click Admin > Maintenance Requests. The ‘Find Maintenance Request’ page is displayed. 3. On the lefthand menu, select Add Account(s). Adding accounts This guides takes you through the process of adding one or more accounts to your CommBiz service. Adding accounts is a maintenance request and requires an additional level of security. You will only be able to add accounts if you have been assigned Admin (Administrator) permissions and have a security token. Ensure that you have the correct name, BSB and account number for each account you are adding. If you want to perform transactions on an account using CommBiz, as a security measure you also need to send the Bank a signed Electronic Account Authority, stating who has permission to authorise those transactions. 003-292 010810

3. On the lefthand menu, select Add Account(s).

Adding accounts

This guides takes you through the process of adding one or more accounts to your CommBiz service.

Adding accounts is a maintenance request and requires an additional level of security. You will only be able to add accounts if you have been assigned Admin (Administrator) permissions and have a security token.

Ensure that you have the correct name, BSB and account number for each account you are adding.

If you want to perform transactions on an account using CommBiz, as a security measure you also need to send the Bank a signed Electronic Account Authority, stating who has permission to authorise those transactions.

4. The ‘Add or Re-enable Account’ screen is displayed. Select the Add Account(s) radio button, then click the Next button.

5. The ‘Add Account(s)’ screen is displayed. Choose the account type from the drop down menu. You will be prompted to provide the details of the account you are adding.

Adding account details

Note: The available account types are savings/cheque account, business loan/line of credit, credit card, foreign currency account, cash relationship account and cash deposit account. To add a non-CBA account, please refer to the ‘Adding Non CBA Accounts’ user guide.

7. Check that all the details you have entered are correct, then click the Add button.

8. Details of the new account are displayed. You can edit or delete the account details.

6. Enter the account details, including the account name, BSB and account number, then choose the Account Holder type from the drop down list.

9. To add further accounts, simply repeat from step 3 .

10. When you have added all the accounts you wish to add, click the Next button. The ‘Account Summary’ screen is displayed.

11.TodefineanElectronicAccountAuthority(EAA)fortheaccount/syouhaveadded,checkthetickboxnexttotheaccount/s, then click the Define Authority button.

12.The‘DefineElectronicAccountAuthority’screenisdisplayed.YoucandefineanewEAA,addtheaccount/stoanexistingEAA,orcopyandeditanexistingEAA.AlloftheseoptionswilltakeyouthroughaseriesofscreensrequiredtodefinetheEAA.

Note: If you add a Cash Relationship Account or a Cash Deposit Account, this will provide you with access to the MarketsfunctionalityinCommBiz.Beforeproceeding,youarerequiredtoselectthecheckboxacknowledgingthat you have read the CommBiz Markets PDS.

Note:TodefineanEAAformultipleaccounts,theAccountTypeandAccountHolderTypemustbethesameacrossthese accounts.

IfyouchoosenottodefineanEAA,clickNextandthe‘ConfirmDetails’pageisdisplayed,askingyoutoconfirmthatyouhavenotdefinedtheEAA.Todefineitatthispoint,simplyclicktheModify button.

IfyouchoosenottodefineanEAA,theaccount/swillbeviewonly.

Finalising the new account(s) request

13.WhenyouhavefinisheddefiningtheEAA,clicktheNext button.

14.The‘ConfirmDetails’screenisdisplayed.

15. Check the details are correct and then click the Confirmbutton.The‘AddAccount(s)–Confirmed’screenisdisplayed.

16. Make a note of your CommBiz request number for future reference.

17. Under ‘CommBiz Forms’, you must print out, complete, sign and return the form(s) shown before your account/swillbefinalised.

18.Youmustalsocheckthetickboxnextto‘Maintenancerequestformshavebeensaved/printed’beforeclicking the OK button. You will now be returned to the ‘Find Maintenance Request’ screen.
