The purpose of the Olathe Math Wings after-school math club is

to provide the opportunity for students to learn important content and skills beyond what is provided in the classroom.

The focus of Math Wings is to accelerate the learning of problem solving, number theory, algebra, and data analysis for motivated, high-achieving math students.

0pener: 10-15 minute problem solving and critical thinking activities or review past competition questions.

15 minutes: Teach a new skill the students have not seen in the classroom.

Remainder of the hour: Challenge students with such things as: hands-on activities, computer, labs, and websites.
