CharityNexus.org is 100% electronic with no paper required. The charity review and vetting process outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations is rigorous. It results in a list of outstanding charities offered to Federal employees. Traditionally, it consumes an enormous amount of administrative time. Charities/Federations, PCFOs, and Federal volunteers spend thousands of hours every year performing the task of charity application to the CFC. CharityNexus.org makes the application process easier for all parties involved. PCFO – CFC Admin The CFC administrator manages the entire process and acts as a intermediate between the charitable organizations and the LFCC team. They allow applications into the LFCC approval process, set up the threshold of approved votes required, and communicate with charities regarding rejections or requests for more information. By simply logging into their account, they get a management level view of all applications. PCFO also have the ability to enter paper applications to be reviewed online. The CostLocal Independent Charity: $10 for every application submitted to a PCFO. Payment to charitynexus.org is made via credit card at the time of application. This price is intended to reflect the time, cost, and postage saving that each charity will experience through the application process.

Local Federation: $30 for every application submitted to a PCFO. Credit Card payment to charitynexus.org.

PCFO: $750 - $2000 per campaign year. Sliding scale based on the number of local charities in the CFC region.

SecurityCharityNexus.org employs industry standard security measures used by large ecommerce and banking sites. The entire website utilizes 256 bit encrypted SSL communications through a GoDaddy certificate. Sensitive information such as login details are encrypted one level deeper ensuring your data is safe. Payment Card Industry standards are achieved and verified with McAfee Secure software which runs quarterly audit scans to uncover and correct for any potential vulnerabilities.
