Manufacturing the Future with 3DPRINTING 2.0
Speaker: Rachel Herrera New applications of 3D printing are emerging almost daily. 3DPRINTING 2.0 opens up and extends the reach into new key verticals; and the exponential speed, size and capacity gains that are delivered together with advanced performance materials. 3D Systems’ customers are making an impact on our lives every day - from engine pro-

Volunteer Rewards Program Drawing at June Meeting!
This year we implemented a new Volunteer Rewards Program to en-courage and reward participation in chapter events. We have been keep-ing track all year of participation and awarding “tickets” for attendance at meetings, work on committees and special events, running for office, and submissions to the chapter newsletter. At our June 16th luncheon meeting we will draw from the collection of tickets to determine the winner of a $100 VISA gift card. You do not have to be present to win, but come join the fun and good food and company, too!

Interesting Reading Information Governance is Not a Fad: Why the ‘Keep Everything Forever’ Approach Won’t Fly. Robert F. Smallwood. (Thank you to Clint Wentworth for letting us know about this article.) Note: This article appeared on the LinkedIn Pulse blog on May 8, 2015. The full article may be read on that website. Recently a debate has started in information governance that we should retain all information - forever. Some contend that IG is just a fad and advances in search technology will soon eliminate the need for IG, arguing that yesterday’s trash may be tomorrow’s treasure, deleting records is time-consuming and expensive, cost of storage is getting cheaper and cheaper, and search technologies are improving. Why won’t the “keep everything forever” paradigm work? Read the article to find out how keeping every-thing effects organizational culture, data quality, costs of discovery, litigation risk, and privacy for your cus-tomers
