SUGGESTED LEVEL: B2 PROCEDURE 1.- PROJECTING PICTURES A ( 10 mins.) Teacher projects a picture and the class tries to guess what the best adjective to describe the situation could be. 2.- SHEET 1 (20 min) In pairs, students try to complete the sheet for 5 minutes. After that, students gather in groups of four for another 5 minutes, Students are encouraged to write as many adjectives as they are able to as long as they are correct. Then groups put answers in common under teacher surveillance and corrections. 3.- GUESS THE ADJECTIVE-1 (20 min) A member of the team in the groups of four reads out the sentence without saying the adjective underlined. The resto of the members of the team have to try to guess the adjective missing. They take turns to do that and the teacher keeps the board completed in SHEET 1 so that students can have some help. 4.- CORRECTING MISTAKES -2 (15 min) Once they have nished completing the sentences with the adjectives, all groups put answers in common and explain why they have chosen their options.
