Background information

International - Barents Rescue 2007 Evaluation: Attention shall be paid to:• Ensuring the request for assistance • Minimizing the transportation distance• Using the available material the most efficient way

National - Lapland cold protection survey 2006: • 77 % of Lapland’s municipalities can respond to cold protection

and logistics in accidents with more than 30 patients• 55% of Lapland’s municipalities can respond to cold protection

and logistics in accidents with more than 80 patients• However, the mobilizing of the equipment is problematic!
