Introduction
The language of colour in modern languages iscurrently studied through CL. However, there hasbeen no similar research in ANCIENTLANGUAGES.
To study the LANGUAGE OF COLOR in the Bible(Hebrew, Greek and Latin version) in order todetermine the meaning of every lexeme through CL.

1. Corpus study allows to be analysed the language ofcolour in every version of the Bible. Social andcultural factors are respected (Fillmore and Atkins,1992). These are essential to the use and meaning ofcolour terms.
