我們特意搜羅世界各地的演藝瑰寶，帶領觀眾跨越疆

界，細味各國深邃的文化與動人的風情。

阿根廷探戈為藝術節揭開序幕；布宜諾斯艾利斯探戈

舞團演出《貝隆夫人》，以濃艷激情的舞姿，演繹阿

根廷國母一生傳奇。壓軸登場的中國越劇表現婉約之

美；上海越劇院除演出經典劇目，還呈獻全新創作的

《甄嬛》和《雙飛翼》。探戈與越劇風格迥異，但同

樣華麗優美，令人嘆為觀止。

今屆精彩節目源源不絕。格魯吉亞國家舞蹈團的演出集靈巧與力量於一身，賞心

悅目；街舞勁旅 Jinjo Crew把韓國文化元素注入西方街舞，創意非凡。六屆格林

美獎得主酋長樂隊演奏傳統愛爾蘭樂曲，帶來雋永率性的即興演出；西非歌后安

潔莉克．淇祖首度來港，以渾厚明亮的歌聲擁抱世界，頌揚大愛精神。香港的藝

團亦會演出音樂和戲劇節目，讓世界文化藝術節添增本地色彩。

除了舞台表演外，藝術節還會舉辦多項延伸活動，透過展覽、導賞、分享會、工

作坊、沙龍講座、徵文活動、戶外演出、街頭舞鬥盛會等不同形式，讓觀眾體會

世界文化的瑰麗丰姿。

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the biennial World Cultures Festival, we have gathered artistic gems across the globe, leading our audience to a world of charming cultures that knows no boundaries.

Tango Buenos Aires kicks off the Festival with The Song of Eva Perón, a spectacular tango performance which portrays the legendary life of the First Lady of Argentina through flamboyant and passionate dancing. Shanghai Yue Opera House will conclude the Festival with its graceful rendition of classical plays and two new productions, Empresses in the Palace and A Poet’s Lament. Tango and Yue opera might seem disparate in style, yet they both exude elegance and gorgeousness which never fail to mesmerise.

The Festival features a strong line-up of exciting programmes. The folk dances of the Georgian National Dance Company Sukhishvili display a perfect mix of agility and strength. Street dance group Jinjo Crew injects cultural elements of Korea to their ingenious dances. Winner of six Grammy Awards, The Chieftains performs classical Irish folk music and impresses the audience with its brilliant improvisation. In her début concert in Hong Kong, African diva Angélique Kidjo celebrates our shared humanity and embraces the world with her powerful and lustrous voice. Concerts and drama featuring Hong Kong arts groups put local flavour into this cross-cultural event.

Apart from stage performances, the Festival also offers an array of extension activities including exhibitions, pre-performance talks, sharing sessions, workshops, salon series talks, writing award scheme, outdoor performances and street dance battle to facilitate the appreciation of world cultures.

1. Solo of Tabla

Tabla is a pair of drums that can produce a wide variety of pitches and timbres when struck with fingers and palms. It features prominently in North Indian classical music.

2. Ensemble solo of Kartal, Dholak and Tabla

Dholak is a two-headed wooden hand drum, often employed at weddings and other celebrations. Kartal is a wooden clapper attached with copper plates that can produce a clinking sound when clapped together. Kartal, dholak and tabla are major instruments in North Indian classical music.

3. Tu Bada Garib Nawaz Hai spiritual songs

Usually chanted at the mosque during Sufi ceremonies, Tu Bada Garib Nawaz Hai is a traditional religious song for purifying the hearts and minds of the believers.

4. Nimbooda, traditional song from Rajasthan

“Nimbooda” means a small unripe lemon. In this song, a beautiful lady is asking for a lemon as its sourness will protect her from bad luck and jealousy.

5. Ghoomar, traditional royal dance from Rajasthan

Originally performed by royal ladies, Ghoomar is now a popular folk dance in Rajasthan, often performed at festivals and celebrations. The word “ghoomar” means moving in circles. There is a graceful and mysterious charm as the skirt flares slowly while the female dancers twirl and tap, with their face covered by a veil.

6. Bhavai dance

Bhavai dance is evolved from the amazing technique of Rajasthani women carrying water pots on their heads when fetching water in Thar Desert. Dancers balance up to several pots on their heads while dancing nimbly, pirouetting, swaying and even with bare feet perching on the edge of swords and nails.

7. Kalbelia dance

Kalbelia community in Rajasthan, once professional snake handlers, celebrate their joyful moments with this dance. Female dancers in flowing black, richly-embroidered skirts swirl and tap, replicating the movements of a serpent. In 2010, Kalbelia folk songs and dances of Rajasthan were inscribed onto the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

一、 塔布拉鼓獨奏

塔布拉鼓是可調節音高的單面對鼓，以手指及手掌敲打出豐富多變的聲音，是

北印度古典音樂的主要擊奏樂器。

二、 卡托兒雙響板、多赫拉鼓和塔布拉鼓演奏

多赫拉鼓是鼓身木製、兩面蒙皮的手鼓，常見於婚禮等喜慶儀式。卡托兒雙響

板是木製的，響板嵌上銅鈴響片，可以敲打出清脆俐落的聲音。卡托兒雙響板、

多赫拉鼓和塔布拉鼓都是北印度古典音樂的主要擊奏樂器。

三、 宗教歌曲「圖．伯達．加利布．那洼茲．海伊」

伊斯蘭蘇菲派宗教歌曲，一般會在清真寺內進行儀式時頌唱，以洗滌信徒心靈。

四、 傳統拉賈斯坦民歌「念布達」

「念布達」意指未熟的檸檬，歌曲描述一個美貌女子希望得到一個檸檬，因為

檸檬的酸味能保護她免招厄運和他人的嫉妒。

五、 傳統拉賈斯坦宮廷舞「古瑪爾」

由宮廷舞蹈慢慢普及為民間節慶儀式常見舞蹈。「古瑪爾」意為旋轉，女舞者

戴上透明而神秘的面紗，腳尖做出迴旋踏步，翩翩泛起的裙擺形成的彩色旋渦，

舞姿優雅。

六、 巴哈瓦頂壺舞

聚居於拉賈斯坦西部的婦女在塔爾沙漠取水時，會將盛水的陶壺用頭頂著，這

種高超的技術逐漸演變成巴哈瓦頂壺舞。舞者頭頂多個壺子靈巧地起舞，以腳

尖旋轉和來回搖擺，更會赤腳踩在刀鋒或釘板上。

七、 卡貝利亞蛇舞

拉賈斯坦地區的卡貝利亞社群曾以捕蛇為業，在喜慶場合常以卡貝利亞蛇舞助

興，女舞者身穿綴有五彩花紋的黑長裙作快速旋轉和踏步，舞步模仿蛇的動態。

2010年卡貝利亞民樂和蛇舞入選聯合國教科文組織「人類非物質文化遺產代表作名錄」。

家族的拉希斯．巴哈爾提創辦，技藝高超的樂師以塔布拉鼓、多赫拉鼓和簧風琴等

印度傳統樂器，演奏出明快激情而又睿智靈性的獨特音樂，加上令人目眩的拉賈斯

坦舞蹈和雜耍，為觀眾留下難忘的音樂體驗。

位於印度西北部的拉賈斯坦邦，以豐富多樣的傳統藝術文化聞名，亦是吉卜賽文化

的發源地。特浩特吉卜賽樂團成員正是受當地多元深厚的音樂傳統和宗教背景孕育

Soul-stirring Rajasthani music is renowned for its rapid, complex rhythms and heart-touching themes, ranging from romance and nostalgia to joyous celebrations of life. Founded by Rahis Bharti, whose musical heritage spans multiple generations, Dhoad Gypsies from Rajasthan also adds a theatrical twist to its melodic mix, with the world-class troupe combining tabla, dholak, harmonium and other traditional instruments, dazzling Rajasthani dance and fakir feats in its exuberant show.

The culturally rich state of Rajasthan is located in the northwest of India, the original home of the Roma people. Nurtured by the region’s diverse musical legacy and religions and powered by a love for sharing creativity, Dhoad Gypsies has given over 1,000 concerts in 80 countries. The ensemble is frequently invited to appear at international festivals, including WOMAD UK, World Music Festival Chicago, Festival d’Ile de France, and the Festival of World Cultures in Ireland. Its versatile artists have also collaborated with “Queen of the Gypsies” Esma Redžepova and rock star Mick Jagger, and performed at Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee Concert.
