What is Mailchimp?Mailchimp is a cloud email marketing and communication system.
Import, create and manage client lists Design & send dynamic emails Use ‘merge tags’ for personalisation Schedule communications Track opens and clicks
Mailchimp TasksAlone or in pairs, find a computer and open your internet browser of choice. By following my instructions you should be able to:

Creating a Mailchimp Account
Make sure the domain you enter is valid – Social Media profiles are perfectly acceptable if you do not have a website
You login with your username, not your email address – can be confusing at first
Importing a Mailing List Many ways to import your mailing lists – csv is by far the easiest for beginners
Add subscribers organically by having a mailing list signup form on your website
Mailchimp will auto remove duplicates and malformed email addresses
Creating a Campaign & Designing an Interactive Email
You can’t ‘break’ anything in Mailchimp
Have fun, try out new designs and sections
Using the in built designer ensures your email will display correctly on mobile devices
Checking, Sending & Scheduling
As with all email, once you hit send – that’s it. Check and double check your email before launching your campaign
Scheduling allows you to target the time of the day when your chosen market is most likely to be receptive
Analysis and Metrics The least exciting but most important part
The worst thing you can do is spend time generating great marketing and then not tracking how effective it was
Analysing opens, clicks and trends will enable you to more effectively target your customers
