With the evolving impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in play, Australian businesses are in unprecedented times.

Called upon to combat Coronavirus across some of the most well-known property assets in Australia – Glad Group set precedent on what clients should expect when their property is cleaned, sanitised and disinfected by adhering to all NSW Health guidelines and regulations, having certification and strictly complying with the most state-of-the-art procedures.

This is because for over 30 years, we have cleaned and maintained facilities in a variety of different industries, utilising experienced professionals who have the appropriate training, techniques, advanced tools and equipment to meet specific cleaning needs, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic.

ABOUT GLAD GROUP Our approach Proudly Australian-owned, Glad Group has been dedicated to working in partnership with clients to achieve their goals since 1989. We offer national capability and the opportunity to tailor a range of property services to individual clients’ needs.

Staff and management at Glad Group are taking the outbreak of COVID-19 seriously. As a result, Glad Group have sufficient capacity in its operations team and casual workforce to flex up and down subject to demand. This means that Glad Group is currently able to mobilise additional cleaners with appropriate training and PPE at short notice.

As situational factors, advice and operational impacts of the coronavirus pandemic continue to evolve rapidly, the Glad Group continue to review operations and ensure we are able to meet variable demand.

Pandemic Cleaning Glad Group can reduce the impact of a pandemic on your operations, employees, customers and the public.

Glad Group employs providers who are trained and experienced biohazard cleaning technicians with the appropriate knowledge and skills to safely and effectively clean, sanitise and remove biohazard-contaminated contents safely from site.

Equipped with the essential safety apparatus and specialised sanitisation chemicals, Glad Group Cleaning technicians are on-call to assist with the decontamination and remediation of any unsafe environment, leaving a clean and safe area space, safe for re-habitation.

Group reassures our clients, and furthermore those engaging within their sites, that we take a serious approach towards ensuring all surfaces and shared spaces are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and sanitisied during pandemics.

Process As part of the cleaning procedure, see below an outline of our cleaning process for our staff to mitigate risk of virus transmission:

Phase 1: before an outbreak- known as safety measure

Decontaminated all surfaces including touch point by using hospital grade chemical.

Staff to wear long sleeve cloth, N-95 category mask, shoe protector, goggles and gloves.

All disposable item to be destroyed by waste management company.

Phase 2: during the outbreak known as confirmed detection of Coronavirus

Fumigate the site/building by using Noco spray (declaration of guarantee to kill the virus is attached)

Full decontamination process will incur after the fumigation. Provide swab report, video, photo and data analysis report. Staff to wear all necessary PPE Dispose of PPE through waste management company.

Preventative Cleaning COVID-19 (Coronaviruses) is known to spread through respiratory droplets, like mucus or saliva, from person to person. Those droplets can land on surfaces, which others may come into contact with and become infected by putting their hands to their eyes, nose, or mouth.

Coronaviruses can live on surfaces for hours in the right environment, according to the World Health Organisation. To prevent the infection, preventative cleaning of all touch points with a hospital grade disinfectant is necessary, such as:

Decontamination Cleaning Services Glad Group’s providers have the experience, knowledge and the right equipment to meet all decontamination cleaning objectives and will work strictly to NSW Health Department guidelines or other relevant regulations as needed.

Our disinfectant cleaning services included both thorough cleaning and disinfection:

Personal protective equipment is worn to minimise the risk of workers’ health and safety, including; long sleeve protective wear, N-95 category mask, shoe protector, goggles and gloves and face protection;

Appropriate precautionary measures undertaken prior to cleaning service; All waste and disposable items will be discarded into biohazard bags and

destroyed by an accredited waste management company; After cleaning services, a strict regime is adhered to, including removal of personal

protective equipment and extreme after-care hygiene measures; All equipment used during the service will be cleaned and restored to the original

sanitised condition and returned to the cleaners’ room or storage area.
