Colorado four-year college & university requirements:

These reach beyond our baseline requirements to graduate from E.H.S:

● 4 years of English (yearbook & newspaper do not count)● 4 years of Mathematics (Algebra and up)● 3 years of Natural Science ● 3 years of Social Studies ● 2 to 3 years of a foreign language (must be in same language) ● CLARIFICATION of LEVELS - you must reach a level of year 2 in

Foreign Language during high school (1 year can be counted from middle school)!!!

Opportunities as Juniors/Seniors

Concurrent Enrollment

Is the opportunity to attend college part-time while attending high school. The district will pay your tuition as long as you get a C or higher!!! (CCD/district will pay community college tuition)

ASCENT

"5th year program" allows seniors (already having 12 or more college credits) to stay enrolled in high school, however completing a full year of college at districts expense

Attend East part-time and CEC or Emily Griffith the other half for Voc-Ed Courses (Automotive/cosmetology/Architecture)

Investigative tools used to research careers and education and begin planning for post-secondary options, however Naviance is a tool that you will use all 4 years of high school to navigate your personal inventory as well as application process.
