Ariane Costa dos Santos [British Consulate] With a recent degree in International Relations, I was selected to work at the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the UN, in New York, on a 4-months-program, where I was designated to support the Brazilian delegation at open meetings, briefings, as well as internal activities, at the Mission, the Consulate and at the United Nations. This opportunity represented an enriching and milestone experience, which motivated me to find a similar work environment where I could be exposed to a multicultural and multilingual workplace, as the British Consulate. Throughout my academic studies, in Social Sciences and International Relations, I have worked at PH Middle and High School, one of the best-evaluated private schools in the country, in the position of a Foreign Languages Senior Tutor. My consistent performance and reliability made me promoted to the administration and human resources department, in which my responsibilities were people’s management, recruitment, supervision, material crafting, meetings organization and communication connection among different parties. Simultaneously I have also found time for another passion of mine, volunteer work: at Doctors without Borders, Street Child and independent projects at International Amnesty related to human rights. In the Third Sector, I have developed communication, logistics, interpersonal skills and project management abilities. Therefore, I am certain those abilities and my academic qualification will add a great value to the British Consulate. Nowadays, I am a graduate student from Ibmec’s International Negotiations postgraduate program, fluent speaker of Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, with full availability to work during the week, international experience and very motivated to start working in a multicultural environment. Therefore, I make myself available for any available positions related to International Politics, Negotiations, Translation Administration and HR.

Ariane Costa dos Santos [British Consulate]

With a recent degree in International Relations, I was selected to work at the

Permanent Mission of Brazil to the UN, in New York, on a 4-months-program, where I

was designated to support the Brazilian delegation at open meetings, briefings, as well as

internal activities, at the Mission, the Consulate and at the United Nations. This

opportunity represented an enriching and milestone experience, which motivated me to

find a similar work environment where I could be exposed to a multicultural and

multilingual workplace, as the British Consulate.

Throughout my academic studies, in Social Sciences and International Relations,

I have worked at PH Middle and High School, one of the best-evaluated private schools

in the country, in the position of a Foreign Languages Senior Tutor. My consistent

performance and reliability made me promoted to the administration and human resources

department, in which my responsibilities were people’s management, recruitment,

supervision, material crafting, meetings organization and communication connection

among different parties. Simultaneously I have also found time for another passion of

mine, volunteer work: at Doctors without Borders, Street Child and independent projects

at International Amnesty related to human rights. In the Third Sector, I have developed

communication, logistics, interpersonal skills and project management abilities.

Therefore, I am certain those abilities and my academic qualification will add a great

value to the British Consulate.

Nowadays, I am a graduate student from Ibmec’s International Negotiations

postgraduate program, fluent speaker of Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, with

full availability to work during the week, international experience and very motivated to

start working in a multicultural environment. Therefore, I make myself available for any

available positions related to International Politics, Negotiations, Translation

Administration and HR.
