TAX OFFICE M E M O R A N D U M

TO: Mayor & Council FROM: Juan Sandoval, M.P.A., C.T.A, R.T.A. City Tax Assessor Collector DATE: September 13, 2011 SUBJECT: Back Up Memo For Items 3R, 3S, & 3T On City Council Agenda of 9/13/2011 These are contracts, inter local agreements, between the City of El Paso and three new taxing jurisdictions which will allow the City to collect taxes for them. Their approval means that the city will have 34 jurisdictions in the consolidated collection system. The beauty of consolidation is that no additional monies are needed to perform this work. I strongly recommend approval. /bv cc: Joyce Wilson, City Manager William Studer, Deputy City Manager Bertha Ontiveros, Assistant City Attorney
