The works will require the closure of Lindberg Road to general traffic, between Kalgup Road and Vasse Highway. Access for local traffic will be maintained apart from the section of Lindberg Road that crosses Ford No. 26. The works are planned to commence during November 2019 and are expected to take approximately 4 months to complete, subject to weather. Local access to properties within the road closure area will be maintained at all times. Advance warning of the works will be provided via the use of variable message boards located at strategic locations in the vicinity of the works. Traffic management, including a detour, will be in place, therefore, it is advisable to seek alternative routes around the works. Vehicular traffic will not be permitted through the work area and the closure will also remain in place afterhours. The City apologises for any inconvenience and will endeavor to minimise delays. In Accordance with section 3.50 of the Local Government Act 1995, Part 3 (functions of local governments – closing certain thoroughfares to vehicles), the City of Busselton advises that Water Corporation will be replacing the Ford crossing on Lindberg Road, commencing in November 2019. The works will require the closure of Lindberg Road to general traffic, between Kalgup Road and Vasse Highway.
