New students enrolled in five ormore units and planning to earn anassociate degree, a certificate ofachievement, or a skill award musttake an English and math skillsassessment. Associate DegreeFor an associate degree, a studentmust complete 60 degree-applica-ble units of work and fulfill spe-cific general education require-ments, including electives andphysical education. A cumulativegrade-point average of 2.0 (“C”)or above is required.
