    Reference architecture overview This document describes the reference architecture of the Cisco Solution for EMC VSPEX server virtualization for 125 virtual machines. This document provides guidelines for building similar solutions.

    VSPEX pre-validated and modular architectures are built with proven best-of-breed technologies to create complete virtualization solutions that enable you to make an informed decision in the hypervisor, compute and networking layers. VSPEX eliminates server virtualization planning and configuration burdens. VSPEX infrastructures accelerate your IT Transformation by enabling faster deployments, greater flexibility of choice, efficiency, and lower risk.

    This reference architecture is not intended to be a comprehensive guide to every aspect of this solution. Server capacity is provided in generic terms for required minimums of CPU, memory and network interfaces; the customer is free to select the server and networking hardware of their choice that meet or exceed the stated minimums.
