O’Ryan has been performing circus arts for over ten years. He has travelled with a variety of circus troupes, putting on shows and teaching workshops all over the world. He currently performs in the Pittsburgh area as O’Ryan the O’Mazing. This is O’Ryan’s 3rd year teaching Circus Class for Falk students!

In this 10 week class students will come to know the basic tenets of circus arts; balance, coordination, and clowning. The curriculum rotates through a variety of skills, drills, and interactive exercises. We will explore the fundamentals of balance, team building, coordination and improvisational theatre by learning the basics of juggling, partner balancing, prop manipulation, and character development.

Circus arts are a wonderful way to increase motor skills while having fun, working as a team, and reinforcing good classroom behavior. Games and exercises teach focus and strength, while helping students to embrace their inner clown! This is a beginner level class open to all ages and abilities.

Circus Class 3:30 - 4:30pm

K - 4th grade on Thursday afternoons- 1/10/19 - 3/21/19

Classes are $20 each or $200 for the entire session, students are encouraged to attend all 10 classes, though it is not required.
