SPECIAL PROGRAMS

CBC HONORS PROGRAMThe CBC Honors Program is designed to challenge academically gifted students as they pursue a rigorous course of study, participate in diverse extra-curricular activities, develop an increased appreciation of the humanities through cultural enrichment experiences, and engage in self-directed and year-round learning. The culmination of the program is a Senior Project to be completed by each participant in conjunction with a mentor of the student’s choice.

The 140 students in the CBC Honors Program earned an average score of 30 on the ACT.

LEARNING NEEDS PROGRAMOur Lasallian mission calls us to serve young men from all background and ability levels. The Learning Needs Program at CBC addresses the unique needs of students with diagnosed disabilities to support their pursuit of a college preparatory high school experience. We offer resources to assist students who are ready for the challenge of a traditional high school, but may require additional support to meet their academic goals. CBC provides a full-time Learning Specialist who works with students and parents /guardians. Additionally, our Learning Resource Center offers many services to the entire CBC student body by providing academic support from faculty, National Honor Society students or the Tutorial Support Program.

The 130 students in CBC’s Learning Needs Program earned an average score of 25 on the ACT.
