Adolescence is the stage of life characterized by independence and trying new things. It is also the time when parents begin to feel like they have lost touch with their children. A parent begins to notice that friends are more important than family and communication becomes strained. When communication breakdown occurs, it is common for anger outburst to happen between parent and child.
