CH&Cie has advised and supported AXA Bank to launch Soon in France. From the opportunity study to the launch, CH&Cie has been deeply involved in the project, our moto "foster ideas, bring solutions" has never been so true. Thanks to our international footprint, we have been able to gather ideas and solutions from different parts of the world and make it happen in one location.TRANSCRIPT

The digital revolution brings a completely new User
eXperience, also in banking.
Inspired particularly by American players such as
Simple, Moyen, Bluebird etc.., the new banking
services make the bank useful and intuitive, as part
of the user’s daily life.
Through our international reach, we were able to
identify, test, and nominate interesting innovations
to propose to AXA Banque afterwards.
The Soon revolution
Soon is a banking revolution to many extents: new
customer experience, a package integrating a
bunch of services, 100% mobile (including the
account opening), a new approach (lean start-up),
and a focus on simplicity and design.
Soon changes the client-bank relationship,
providing a complitely new experience.

CH&Cie worked along with AXA Banque on Soon since the
project’s genesis, providing benchmarks, ideas and
brainstorming with AXA Banque teams in order to
implement it.
Our in-house innovation lab allowed us to identify
interesting initiatives very early, drawing on feedback from
first-hand experience.
Our international connections enabled us to spot and select
the best partners to design and build a disruptive offer.
From the development to the commercial launch, CH&Cie
coordinated work among all stakeholders, in an “innovation
catalyst” approach.

Soon offers an entirely new, use-centric
customer experience. The user controls
expenses, tracks bills, and plans projects
in a simple and fun way, with a little
nudging.

The design is sleek, simple, and intuitive in
an effort to make the bank as straight-
forward, enjoyable and attractive.
The bank statement turns into a timeline
collecting memories, with photographs
and comments.
Saving is linked to projects, with photo
and planning.
We developed a methodology inspired from the Lean Start-up
process:
• A limited time spent on scoping, a focus on action and project
launch (“Effectuation” approach)
• A small multidisciplinary team to generate innovation while
reducing costs and time-to-market
• A “test and learn” mindset: a very early encounter with the
market favoring prototypes and beta-versions to theoretical
analysis

CH&Cie role was essential in the design of the UX and the scoping of Soon functionalities. Based on
international footprint, we leveraged on the different successful initiatives and integrated them in a consistent
UX.
We managed the project from start to finish, with a strong leadership on the UX, as the cornerstone of the
new offer. Our ability to drive a team gathering several service providers makes the consistency of the offer.
Our sector-specific focus enabled us to mobilise the necessary skills to launch Soon (regulatory compliance,
risk management, back-office and operations, customer relationships, etc…).

With Soon, we wanted to reinvent day-to-day
banking but also the customer-bank
relationship, using smartphone capabilities.
It was also the opportunity to innovate in our
way of working, and to demonstrate that even
a big firm such as AXA can handle projects like
a start-up.
