ProcedureIntroduction
1. Writetheword“honesty”inthemiddleofapieceofchartpaper
2. Askstudents:
• Whatdoeshonestymean?• Whyishonestyimportant?• Whatarethequalitiesofanhonestperson?• Whodoyouknowthatishonest?
3. Recordanswersaroundtheword“honesty”onthechartpapertocreateawordweb.Havestudents definetheterm“web”andasagroupdeterminewhythechartiscalleda“wordweb.”
4. Displaythewordwebintheclassroomtouseasareference.
Direct Instruction (I do)1. Chooseafewstudentstostandinaline,shouldertoshoulder,atthefrontoftheroomfacingtheclass.
