Generations of readers have adored the best-selling novel Anne of Green Gables, and now the musical adaptation of the beloved book hits the stage at Chance Theater. The Cuthberts expect to adopt a boy, but receive, instead, a red-haired, wide eyed orphan girl. Though clever young Anne Shirley has a penchant for getting into trouble, she works her way into the hearts of her adoptive parents as well as the residents of rural Prince Edward Island. It’s a heartwarming story for the whole family.

4 v 17th Anniversary Season

Casey Long (Dasher/Cupid/Donner/Managing Director) This is Casey’s 12th appearance in The Eight: Reindeer Monologues and is excited to be tackling the role of Donner in addition to his Dasher and Cupid

characters. Prior Chance acting credits include this season’s A Bright New Boise, as well as the SoCal premiere of Reborning, the West Coast premiere of Nerve, and the SoCal premiere of Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter, among others. In a case of split personality, Casey also directed all three shows featured in Chance’s Holiday Literature Series -- Anne of Green Gables, Little Women - The Broadway Musical, and The Secret Garden - The Musical while cursing his way through Reindeer performances. Thanks for joining us tonight for this un-holiday tradition that has lasted for over a decade! “For Camryn, the Vixen-iest Vixen I know.”

Ben Green (Dasher) is incredibly happy and lucky to be returning as Dasher for his FIFTH YEAR! BA in Theatre Arts - CSU Fullerton ‘11. Notable credits: Psycho Beach Party (Kanaka), RENT (Benny), The Rocky

He would like to thank all those who have shown their support throughout the years and Chance Theater for giving him this creative outlet.

After just getting married to his beautiful wife Emily, he plans to continue perusing acting in theater and film. He hopes you have a real hoot of a time!

Andrew Eddins (Hollywood) is utterly deer-lighted to be back at the Chance once again. And getting to portray one of his favorite characters in one of his favorite plays doesn’t hurt either. Andrew has his Bachelors Degree

Many thanks go out to Alex for this opportunity, his family and friends for always being there, and his God and King for endless blessings. Merry Christmas and enjoy the show!

After graduating in May, Taylor will be freely pursuing her passion wherever she is given the opportunity, and is grateful everyday that she is encouraged by her family to do just that. She sends holiday wishes to everyone who has helped and pushed her through her long and not yet over journey and to all the haters she sends coal.
