The purpose of this NR452 assignment is to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate mastery of essential nursing content for beginning practice as a registered nurse. The comprehensive review assignment requires application of knowledge gained in previous assignments, SIMCARE Center activities, and clinical learning experiences. You will be provided with self-study modules and personalized virtual coaching by nurse educators who help guide you in the demonstration of the following: a) synthesis and application of knowledge and clinical reasoning to practice, and b) readiness for NCLEX success and transition to nursing practice. The modules provide you with a personalized profile of weak and strong areas of knowledge. Meeting all requirements of this assignment positions you for first time success on the NCLEX. COURSE OUTCOMES This assignment enables the student to meet the following course outcomes. CO #1: Synthesize knowledge from sciences, humanities, and nursing in managing the needs of humans as consumers of healthcare in a patient-centered environment. Chamberlain’s Comprehensive Nursing Program Review Guidelines

PURPOSE Chamberlain’s Comprehensive Nursing Program Review is a required assignment of the NR452 Capstone Course and a part of the overall Chamberlain Care Student Success Model that spans your entire program beginning with your admission to Chamberlain. ELEMENTS OF ASSIGNMENT The comprehensive nursing program review is comprised of the following elements that demonstrate mastery:

• Successful completion of a series of 10 modules (orientation plus 9 modules) no later than 11:59 pm, inyour campus time zone, on Wednesday of Week 7, or as scheduled by your local campusadministration.o The module activities must be completed by each student, individually, following the guidelines

provide by Virtual ATI.• The remedial activities are personalized based on your individual performance trends as determined by

your ATI Content Assessments and your Virtual-ATI Coach.

o Your campus may require you to complete the module assessments in a monitored setting oncampus.

o Successful completion of a module includes:

▪ Independently achieving a minimum adjusted individual score of 60%,

▪ minimum sub-scale scores of 65%, and

▪ completing all required remedial activities assigned by the Virtual-ATI Coach in one module beforeprogressing to the next.

• Completion of all modules, required remedial activities and assessments are required to achieve thereadiness designation prior to taking the proctored ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor on campus.o Students who fail to meet the above stated requirements by 11:59 pm (campus local time) on

Wednesday of Week 7, or as scheduled by your local campus administration, will not achievereadiness designation to complete the proctored ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor on campus.

• Because of the complexity of the comprehensive review assignment, you should develop and follow astudy time management plan for completing all modules and other assigned remedial activities by thespecified due date.

o Virtual-ATI best practices recommend a minimum time commitment of 2-3 hours per day, 5 days perweek.

• Attainment of a minimum score of 94% Predicted Probability/72% adjusted individual score on theproctored ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor on campus.

• To participate and complete the modules, sign in to your ATI account at www.atitesting.com, locate the

tab and click on the tab. You will enter the Virtual Classroom by clicking the following:

• You will use the Virtual-ATI Checklist and Important Points document to follow the directions forcompleting the following modules in the weeks, as assigned below. These important documents can befound in your Canvas Course.

Module 1- Begin virtual modules with a video orientation in your online course shell. The orientation provides a description of how to complete the modules, assessments of learning, and individualized virtual tutoring.

Module 2- NCLEX Strategies- NCLEX Experience and Advanced Nurse Logic module provides a strong foundation in preparing for success on NCLEX questions.

6 To be eligible to take the Learning System RN 3.0 Comprehensive Final and the non-proctored Virtual ATI Final Comprehensive Predictor Assessment prior to the proctored ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor on campus, you must repeat any initial assessment for which a score of 60% overall was not achieved as well as complete any additional assigned remediation provided by your Virtual-ATI Coach.

Module 10-

o Learning System RN 3.0 Comprehensive Final located in ATI Learning System RN 3.0 under the LearnTab in your ATI account at www.atitesting.com. Do not take this assessment until you are clearedby your coach.

o Virtual Final Comprehensive Assessment

7 Achieve “Ready for Final Assessment” from Virtual-ATI Coach Take proctored ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor on campus

8 Engage in the Improve Phase of the ATI Learning Loop for the proctored ATI Comprehensive Predictor completed on campus week 7.

As a New Graduate

Continue to engage with Virtual-ATI Coaches to prepare for success on NCLEX and complete the post study guide located in module 10 of the Virtual ATI Classroom. This has been determined to be one of the most vital experiences that reinforces the knowledge needed to be successful on the NCLEX.

DUE DATE The successful completion of the modules will be determined by the Virtual-ATI Coach using your individual performance trends as determined by your ATI Content Assessments and your Virtual-ATI Coach. The modules MUST be completed sequentially in the order according to the Virtual-ATI Checklist. All modules must be completed no later than 11:59 pm (campus local time) on Wednesday of Week 7, or as scheduled by your local campus administration. Completion of the modules and ability to take the proctored ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor on campus requires a minimum adjusted individual score of 60%, minimum sub-scale scores of 65%, completion of all required remedial activities assigned by the Virtual-ATI Coach, and achievement of “Ready to take Final Review Assessment” designation by the Virtual-ATI Coach.

Students must take all content assessments individually without using outside resources or group work. The sharing of ATI Assessment codes is not permitted. Students should take assessments in one sitting individually and honestly, avoiding any pauses longer than a short rest break. Resources in the Virtual ATI Classroom are products of ATI and are not permitted for use outside of the review. Students who violate the testing policy and have noted anomalies may forfeit their readiness for final assessment designation.

Students are not eligible to take the proctored ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor on campus prior to receiving readiness designation from their Virtual-ATI Coach. The proctored ATI RN Comprehensive Predictor on campus must be taken by the date specified by your campus.
