Charting CFH’s Expanding Local OutreachMeeting the physical and spiritual needs of Tulsa’s less
fortunate has been a priority of Christ for Humanitysince 1998, shortly after the ministry moved to its cur-rent location on East 13th Street. We designed our firstprograms to provide food, clothing, medical supplies andthe Gospel to walk-in clients.
Then in 2001, CFH decided to launch its Adopt-a-Facility program, pairing area churches with TulsaHousing Authority facilities. The ministry provides foodat these monthly outreaches. Over the years, Adopt-a-Facility has expanded to include ten church partners in16 low-income facilities across the city, proclaiming the“good news” of Christ to those who are hungry in bodyand spirit.
Ministry staff is also actively involved in evangelicaloutreaches both on and off-site. Since 2004, CFH’s weekly1st Steps discipleship program has provided a venue forbelievers and seekers to hear God’s Word from gifted areapastors and laymen. The ministry’s newest program,Christ’s Coffee House, established by John and RondaTyson in December 2012, affords young Christian menand women a relaxed environment to meet socially, sharetheir ideas and talents and discuss topics pertinent to living in today’s society. The program has grown miracu-lously as young Christians flock to our site.
The following chart illustrates the demographicbreadth and depth of CFH’s and local churches’ involve-ment in local outreach.

WHY SUPPORTING MISSIONARIES IS IMPORTANT
As a para-church organization, Christ for Humanity’spurpose is to help spread the Gospel’s message by providing humanitarian relief to churches, mission
agencies and individual missionaries, thus bolstering theirevangelical efforts worldwide. To accomplish this goal, CFHcollects donations from the medical community, businesses, other relief agencies and caring individuals for those serving inthe mission field. Each year CFH also partners financially with trusted mis-
sion organizations on a wide array of special projects. This yearthe ministry (1) raised funds to help build a Christian schoolin Mali; (2) completed two water wells in Africa; (3) sponsoredthe printing of Christian materials in China; (4) and helpedstock the shelves of the Genesis Food Bank in Egypt, whichserves persecuted Christian churches. How blessed we are thatthe Lord has provided these and other avenues of service forthe ministry! While humanitarian projects are always of interest to poten-
tial donors, missionary support is less concrete and can be aproblem for those serving in the mission field. Yet, withoutmissionaries on the ground -- at home and abroad -- the message of redemption and salvation through belief in JesusChrist would never reach the ears of the unsaved. For that reason, this year CFH decided to allot part of its “projectbudget” strictly to provide for worthy missionary needs. Belowis a report from one of God’s field workers who CFH helpedduring the past year.
Meet Dave and Olivia Wolf – serving withUnited Indian Missions based in Mexico
and now with MARC in AlaskaThis spring, CFH decided to provide roundtrip airline
tickets for missionary pilot Dave Wolf and his wife, Olivia, totravel from their home base in Mexico to volunteer in Alaskaduring the summer. For the last three summers, the Wolfs wereon loan to Mission Aviation and Repair Center (MARC), flying native children, camp staff, and supplies to fourChristian camps that could only be reached by air. This summer Dave and MARC’s staff pilots flew 426 campers, 68staff, and many tons of relief cargo across the length andbreadth of one of this country’s most remote states, using twoKing Air, twin-engine, turbo-prop airplanes. Pilot Dave Wolf says: “God gave us protection during our
many flights that were flown in cloudy, rainy conditions.Thank the Lord the remote native village airstrips hadadvanced aviation procedures permitting instrument landings. Our planes landed at more than 35 remote villages, picking upnative children and flying them to Christian camps. Oneairstrip was only 68 miles from Russia, and another stop,Barrow, was the northernmost town in the USA. On one trip,
our crew flew over 6,000 miles, a work day lasting 14 hours. We would often fill the airplane with nearly a ton of suppliesfor a camp the day before a flight. After unloading the campsupplies, our crew reinstalled the nine passenger seats to takecampers home. Supplies could include fresh vegetables, meat, fish, lumber, propane gas bottles, ice cream, and even a bicycle.” Wolf goes on to say that his wife, Olivia, “was also busy
serving while in Alaska. She helped with vacation Bibleschools, served as a junior-high camp counselor, and assisted inthe MARC office.” The Wolfs reported back to Christ for Humanity just how
thankful they were that the Lord allowed them to establish somany close friendships during their time serving Him in sucha unique and beautiful part of the world.

Christ for Humanity’s Christmas Ham DriveCFH kicked off its annual Ham Drive on November 13th. The ministry hopes to collect enough
funds to cover the cost of 700, bone-in hams as special Christmas gifts for walk-in clients and forneedy people living in the 16 Tulsa Housing Authority facilities involved in Christ for Humanity’sAdopt-a-Facility program.Imagine our surprise when we discovered that the price of hams had doubled from the previous
year! Our efforts are in overdrive as we encourage all we know to reach out to others to help us withthis worthy project. This year the best price CFH could negotiate was $15 per ham, considerably higher than in past years.Nevertheless, ham remains the best meat choice for the people we serve, for it is fully cooked and provides multiple, diversemeals. Even the bone is a blessing, as it can be used to make a nutritious bean soup. Anyone interested in contributing to this year’s Ham Drive should make checks payable to CFH, noting Ham Drive in the
memo. Your gift will provide the light of Christ to needy Tulsa families, an expression of God’s love to people in crisis situationsduring this blessed Christmas season.

Mali Challenge Grant: Rehoboth Christian SchoolThree Classrooms ($18,000)Thanks to the generosity of a number of caring individuals and grant money from a Florida-based founda-
tion, Christ for Humanity raised the $18,000 needed to complete three classrooms for Rehoboth ChristianSchool in the Kayes region of Mali, West Africa. During the fundraising period, the school used the brick-making machine CFH purchased for United World Missions in 2011 to produce the building blocks for theclassrooms. Now that the funds have been wired to missionaries Jim and Jennifer Bowers, the classrooms canbe completed, and Maline and Fulani children will have the opportunity to attend a school where they willbe exposed to the love of Christ. We will update you on the progress of this exciting project.

The Hindu and the Ant HillAdapted from from Bill Bright’s Daily Insights – a service of Global Pastors Network
There was a man from India named Raj who was a member of a Hindu sect, which professed a profound
sense of reverence for life. This man would not kill an ant, a cow, or even a cobra because he believed
in reincarnation and feared he could be killing a past relative.
During a visit to America, this devout Hindu was confronted with the claims of Christ; however, he
could not grasp the biblical truth found in John 1: “In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . And the Word became flesh and dwelt
among us . . .” Raj wondered, “Did God actually visit this planet in the flesh in the person of Jesus
Christ? Why would the Great Creator God care to do such a thing?”
One day Raj was walking in a field, meditating upon this new truth about Jesus Christ being God,
when he discovered a large ant hill with thousands of little ants scurrying around in their busy manner.
As he stood there observing with wonder the activity of these tiny creatures, he heard a tremendous,
threatening noise and realized a large tractor was plowing the field in which he stood. In fact the trac-
tor would soon be plowing through the very ant hill he was watching, destroying thousands of ants.
Gripped with the same concern you and I would feel for hundreds of people trapped in a burning
building, Raj became frantic, wanting to warn the ants of their impending destruction.
He wondered, "How can I warn them? If I write in the sand, they won’t be able to read my words.
If I shout to them, they won’t understand me. The only possible way I can communicate with these
ants is to become an ant, if I had that ability."
At that moment, Raj received a revelation from the Spirit of God. He suddenly understood why God,
the Creator of the universe, chose to leave His heavenly domain, coming to earth in human form as
the God-man, Jesus of Nazareth. Only by becoming one of us could He effectively communicate that
apart from His saving power, mankind was heading for destruction. Only by sacrificing Himself in our
place could He visually demonstrate the Father’s wonderful grace toward us that while we were yet
sinners, Christ willingly died in our place. And only by rising from the dead could Christ fully demon-
strate His power to justify those who would believe in His name before Father God.
Through his experience with the ant hill, this Hindu man finally understood the words of Paul found
in Philippians 2:5-11: “. . . although He [Christ] existed in the form of God, did not regard
equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-
servant, and being made in the likeness of men . . . He humbled Himself by becoming
obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore also God highly exalted
Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus
EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW . . . and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Father John and His Young Parishioner
It was the Sunday after Christmas at Saint Peter and Saint Paul's Church in Borden,Kent, England. Father John was looking at the nativity scene prior to packing awaythe figures when he noticed the baby Jesus was missing from the scene.
Immediately, Father John turned towards the vicarage in order to call the police. Butas he was about to do so, he saw little Harry with a red wagon, and in the wagonwas the figure of the little infant, Jesus.
Father John walked up to Harry and said, “Well, Harry, where did you get the littleinfant?”
Harry replied honestly, “I took him from the church, Father John.”
“And why did you take him?”
With a sheepish smile, Harry said, “Well, about a week before Christmas, I prayed to little Lord Jesus. I told him if he
would bring me a red wagon for Christmas, I would give him a ride around the block in it.”
