The Certified Financial Planner Certification is a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner

The CFP certification examination is designed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards in order to assess your ability and integrate

and broad base of financial planning knowledge that is applicable to real life financial planning situations. Passing this certification exam would indicate to the public that you were able to attain the highest level of

professionalism, competency and ethical practices that is necessary for you to practice independently as a financial planner and at the same time

The Certified Financial Planner Certification Exam is administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. The exam covers over a hundred of financial planning and financial services topics. It

is a 10 hour exam that is given in 2 consecutive days. It will be a four-hour session on Friday and two 3-hour sessions on Saturday.

The exam is consists of 285 multiple choice questions with one case study per session.

For you to become eligible to take the Certified Financial Planner Exam you must successfully complete the educational coursework requirements. You must earn a Bachelor’s degree or higher from

any form of discipline as long as it is from an accredited college or university. Aside from that you also have to complete the formal CFP course program wherein you required taking special course
