Community Grant Program•WHAT: $10,000 one-year grants (July 1, 2014 –June 30, 2015)• Function on reimbursable basis•Match is required (in-kind acceptable)

•WHY: Link EKU (faculty, students, expertise, etc.) with community • Driven by community needs and interests• build community capacity • Develop ongoing, mutually beneficial relationships with EKU

Eligibility for Funding & Guidelines

1. Communities must partner with an EKU Unit2. Travel can be included3. Community Project Directors OK—• EKU personnel cannot be paid from grants

4. Communities must demonstrate support (in-kind, matching)• Letters of commitment• Documentation of volunteer in-kind hours

county service region• May include areas outside of these counties
