DIY Magazine

• Over the next 5 weeks you are going to create your own original magazine based on your favourite:

• Movie

• TV Show

• Video Game

• What is your magazine going to be about?

DIY Magazine – suggested steps for learning April to May 2020• You can work on a computer or tablet, or you can create your magazine using your own artistic skills (pen, pencil, paint, old

magazine fonts etc.). You can even include both. It is entirely up to you. The main thing is that you put in a lot of effort. The task will help you with your presentation skills and should be engaging if you follow your interests. Please be as creative as possible.

• Your magazine should include:

• A colourful cover using photographs or pictures and text. (Week 1 – 2 hours)

• A contents page. (you can do this at the end)

• A “For Dummies” introduction to what the movie/film/game is about. (Week 2 – 2 hours)

• A review of the latest movie/season/game. (week 3 – 2 hours)

• A "character profile" of your favourite character.or actor (week 4 – 2 hours)

• At least two quizzes e.g., trivia, crossword, word search. (week 5 – 2 hours)

• Anything else you can think of! (Feel free to add extra time to your project)

• Please bring your magazine to Mr Moore when we return to school so we can make a CC display!
