the AskThe advertising technology company has SAP SuccessFactors as the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) system for capturing their day-to-day transactions, and ADP as their Payroll System. With two different systems driving HR and Payroll functions, the sync between the two was established a trifle too late.

As a result, employee information in the HRIS system was not fed into the payroll system periodically and changes made in the HRIS system for a specific period did not reflect in the payroll system. The client wanted to integrate both the systems to gain better control by accessing the same information in both the applications, ensuring data consistency across HR transactions.

Solution

Quadrant 4 designed and integrated HRIS and Payroll Systems using iPaas Solution in the Middleware, leveraging Dell Boomi as an integration tool. Using this tool, the custom integration process fetches employee’s Organisational Data, Personal Data and Compensation relevant information from the Source System (SAP SuccessFactors) and transfers the required information into Target System (ADP Payroll System) via Secured File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). Through this process, new events, updates or any specific changes made to a particular field data are captured.

This solution automated the transfer of data for regular HRIS transactions including New Hire/Rehire, Address Changes, Promotions, Time Management Details, Pay Frequency and Compensation information.
