3. If you were a victim of workplace bullying, what steps would you take to try to reduce its

occurrence? What strategies would be most effective? Least effective? What would you do if

one of your colleagues were a victim?

If I would be a victim of workplace bullying I would first try to talk with my supervisor, if it doesn't

change anything I would go to my supervisor and explain the situation. I would definitely not quit my

job; it would be useless. It is important to try to change things and not just wait that something will

change. One step is to take care of yourself, your motivation, social, esteem, and self-

actualization needs. It is important to stop rumors and not let them to interfere.

If one of my co-workers would be a victim of bullying, I would try to help him/her to tell him advices

how to stop it, I would encourage him/her to seek help and do something about it, but I wouldn't be the

person who interferes and stops it. It is easy to just watch and do nothing, but it is important to show

the co-worker that you are on his/her side and encourage the employee to make a change and not quit

his/her job.
