From an applications standpoint Carver hastraditionally focused on the Industrial andMarine markets. Within these markets we buildpumps for handling water, oil, and chemicalsfor both the public and private sectors.

These markets, however, are by no means theonly ones we are active in. In fact, it is hard to find an industry, market, or service today that doesn’t use a Carver pump as its primefluid mover.

Either way, our pumps all carry the sameCarver trademark: lasting value from solid, straightforward designs that provide manyyears of service. So whether the job is refuelingfighter jets on the deck of an aircraft carrier, supplying paint to an auto assembly line, orbringing water to the fountain in a city park, weput our reputation on the line every day withevery pump we build.

For General Service applications we offerhorizontal and vertical pumps. Our GHF and

GHC Series horizontal pumps are available inclose coupled or frame mounted arrangements. These pumps are offered in cast iron, bronze or 316 SS fitted cast iron, or all 316 SSexecutions.

Standard features include a back pull-outdesign for simplified maintenance andinspection ease and 316 SS shaft sleeves forextended life expectancy. The close coupledpumps have the added option of either JM or JP shaft extension motors.

Our GVC and GVT Series vertical pumps areavailable as standard tank

mounted units or the moreoperator-friendly top pull outdesigns for depths to 36inches. For anything deeper theGVS Series sump pump isoffered for depths to 20 feet.

All are available in cast iron,316 SS fitted cast iron, or all

316 SS executions and comewith a broad selection of

discharge piping, topplate, and underliner

choices.

Together theseGeneral Service

pumps offer hydrauliccoverage to 10,000 GPM

and 500 ft. TDH, whichmakes it hard to find anapplication we can’thandle.

In addition to these standard pumps, we alsobring the benefit of 60 years experience inspecial application pumps. So, if you requirespecial flows, pressures, temperatures, mounting, or drive configurations, we cancreate a pump specifically for you.

In the Process Industries, Carver can be foundwherever heavy-duty pumps are specified. Ourprocess pumps include a full range of horizontal, vertical, multi-stage ring section, self-priming,and solids handling designs.

The Maxum Series is available as either theProcess Maxum or API Maxum Series. Bothunits are designed to meet specific needs ofindividual markets. While the Process Maxum isfoot mounted, the API Maxum is centerline

mounted and fullycomplies with API

610Specifications.Both series provide

flows to9,000 GPMwith heads

up to 720 ft. Dependingon the application, both series are available in awide range of material options.

The RS Series ring section, multi-stage pumpsare available as horizontal or vertical units. TheRS6 has 600 lb. flanges for heads to 1,900 ft.while the RS9 has 900 lb. flanges for dischargeheads to 2,800 ft.

Both are available in ductile iron or CD4MCuwith iron, bronze, or CD4MCu internals. And,like the Maxum Series, the RS can be motor or turbine driven and is available in hightemperature arrangements as well.

Our pumps are engineered to handle high flows, high pressures, extreme temperatures, aggressive materials, and/or entrained solidsthat are typical in:

Accessories and auxiliaries such as seal flushsystems, vibration detectors, vapor tightvertical configurations, and full API baseplatesare all common for us. Complete performancetesting is also available as required.

For Marine applications our pumps can befound on just about anything that floats.

Not only are we a mainstay in the CommercialMarine industry, we also are proud of our long-term partnerships with the Military SealiftCommand and U.S. Coast Guard and have beena supplier on every major Navy shipbuildingprogram of the last 40 years.

Our shipboard pumps include a wideassortment of end suction (close coupled orframe mounted), horizontally or verticallymounted, axially split-case, low NPSHvertically mounted pumps.

All of these pumps meet the strenuous militaryspecifications for high impact shock loading, environmental impact, vibration, plus acousticrequirements.

Our pumps are installed on all currentNavy/MSC/USCG shipbuilding programsincluding:

They operate on a number of servicesincluding:

We are also a partner with the U.S. defenseindustry on many leading edge R & Dinitiatives, working with them to develop andimprove the pumps of tomorrow.

On the Commercial Marine side we have a fullline of both horizontal and vertical pumps. The

MHF is our horizontal closecoupled series. Our verticalpumps include the MVP vertical

in-line, pedestal mountedseries, and the MVS verticalsump series capable of pumpingfrom tanks 20 feet below deck.

These pumps are availablein cast iron, bronze fitted, all bronze, or Ni-Al bronze

construction. We havealso developed a new, proprietary highstrength, corrosionresistant compositematerial for our pump

internals.

This advancedmaterial, whichhas already been

put into service by theU.S. Navy, is just another example of howCarver creates value for our customers.

Designed for onboard pumping of fresh water, seawater, and other fluids, these pumps can beused on everything from U.S. Coast Guardcutters and icebreakers to barges, ocean-goingtankers, workboats, ferry boats, small pleasure

craft, and even luxuryyachts.

Engineered forreliability witha minimum of spacerequired, ourCommercialMarine

pumps are all built in

accordance withASTM F-998, USCG

and American Bureau ofShipping (ABS) requirements andcan be tested to government shockand vibration specifica tions.Certifications from the various

technical societies (ABS, Lloyd’s, Det NorskeVeritas, etc.) can also be obtained.

Most importantly, as with all our other pumps, these pumps offer the reliability, low total lifecost, and lasting value that has made Carverone of the most trusted names in pumps.
