Thank you for enquiring about a wedding at Carbis Bay – we would dearly love to host you.

First of all, here’s a summary of how it can work…

If desired, barefooted brides can walk sandy-toed down the aisle, and exchange seaside vows with their waiting groom. We have 12 separate areas on the estate licensed for ceremonies, including a new beach venue on the sand opening in September 2018. These various venues help enable what’s most important: flexibility in tailoring the wedding exactly how you want it. If your wish is remotely possible, it’ll be granted! Ceremonies here can be intimate, quirky, classic or grand.

Especially popular is saying ‘I do’ on our Blue Flag private beach. Though obviously biased, I honestly don’t believe that there’s a more romantic place in Britain in which to tie the knot. Alternatively, you could (depending on numbers) stage your ceremony in either the elegant Sands or conservatory-style Godrevy Room, both of which gloriously face the sea, and then head onto the sand for photos.

Later, you can have cocktails on a sea-facing terrace, or gather everyone for a beach barbecue. Either way, the grins on most faces tend to be as wide as St Ives’ Bay behind. You can finish the day with fireworks on the sand.

Also right on the beach, our new, coastal-chic Beach Lodges and Suites make for an indulgent – and spacious, comfortable – first night of wedlock, with some boasting hot tubs and roof gardens. Multi-person Apartment Suites work well for bridal parties, groomsmen or travelling families. The next morning, everyone usually gathers for a relaxed post-wedding breakfast.

Our dedicated wedding coordinators are as passionate as you are, and will make your day special by helping with everything – from menu advice, flowers, photographs and entertainment-choosing through to acting as Master of Ceremonies from start to finish. For groups numbering over 40, we offer a complimentary room and breakfast for the night of the wedding for the bride and groom, plus discounted accommodation for all their guests. Hopefully that gives you a flavour of the Carbis Bay Hotel wedding experience. I have also attached the hotel’s wedding pack, which includes venue details, venue table plans and suggested menus (these will ultimately be tailored to you). Our large C Bay Spa – containing a hydropool, heated outdoor pool, sauna pod, treatment rooms and relaxation lounges with still more sea views – offers special bridal and hen spa days, bridal make-up packages and much more. Treatments can also be taken in an outdoor pavilion, while the Beach Suite and its balcony hot tub works well for bridal parties on the night before.
