About Us

Barker Ryan Stewart is a fast growing property and infrastructure consultancy specialising in:

Established in 2009 and with offices in Sydney, Hunter and Central Coast, Barker Ryan Stewart is a team of dynamic, skilled professionals who work within the Corporate, Government and Property Development sectors.

Barker Ryan Stewart prides itself on its can-do, energetic culture. Our continued growth has also resulted in Barker Ryan Stewart becoming the largest Private Subdivision Certifier in NSW.

With experience in over 2,500 projects and with a value of over $5 billion including mining, roads, residential and commercial property projects we have the depth and breadth of experience to meet and drive the outcomes required for our clients.

Booth Street Annandale

DA for mixed commercial development including supermarket, child care and café, on behalf of TriconGroup. Working on a tight site we negotiated a difficult DA through Leichhardt Council to optimise the financial viability of the project.

Parramatta City Council

Provision of town planning services on behalf of Parramatta City Council, including the DA assessment of 774 apartments and representations to Joint Regional Planning Panel.

North Kellyville Release Area

Barker Ryan Stewart has been trusted with the subdivision road and drainage design for a number of large residential development in Sydneys growthcenters - North Kellyville release area ranging from 35 lots to 200 lots totalling over 470 lots valued at over $160 million, Barker Ryan Stewart’s designs where successful in securing DA approval and construction certificates issued by the Hills Shire Council.

Warwick Farm Racecourse

Barker Ryan Stewart are providing Civil Engineering and Construction Supervision for a major upgrade of Warwick Farm Racecourse. The project involves works on a major intersection, road and drainage, and a new large car park design for The Australian Turf Club.

Mariners Plaza, Gosford

Barker Ryan Stewart worked with the developer to provide a detailed traffic and parking assessment, including a significant variation to Council’s car parking requirements for a $157 million development in the heart of Gosford. Mariners Plaza includes two towers rising up to 28 storeys, 134 room hotel and supermarket as well as 276 residential apartments, 476 on site car parking spaces and commercial and retail premises.

Barker Ryan Stewart provided traffic and parking impact assessment services including liaison with Council’s traffic engineer and Roads and Maritime Services, for 500 residential apartments, 80 room hotel, tavern, restaurant, supermarket, cinema and retail space.

Private Certification Our Private Certification services can significantly reduce your project and holding costs compared to using Council. We do this by providing faster turnaround times and ensuring a more consistent assessment process.

We can assist you with the following services:

• Strata Subdivision Certificates

• Principal Certifying Authority (subdivisions)

• Construction Certificates for subdivision works (approval of design plans)

• Compliance Certificates for subdivision works (approval of works)

• Compliance Certificates for civil engineering design and works components of development projects

Barker Ryan Stewart are the Principal Certifying Authority and the Roads and Maritime Services Project Verifier for the $1.8 billion 7,500 lot Master Planned residential development and employment precinct for 3,000 permanent jobs in the Hunter region for LWP Property Group.

Beaches, Catherine Hill Bay

Barker Ryan Stewart are the Principal Certifying Authority and are the Roads and Maritime Services Project Verifier for the 550 residential lot Master Planned development including a major intersection with The Pacific Highway.

Bungarribee Industrial Estate, Blacktown

Barker Ryan Stewart were Principal Certifying Authority and are the Roads and Maritime Services Project Verifier for a major intersection and necessary roads and drainage for 6 large industrial lots. The lots ranged in size from 30,000 sq metres to 187,900 sq metres one of which is now a Metcash Distribution Centre.

Evoke Apartments, Ryde

Barker Ryan Stewart are the Strata Certifier for Meriton’s 280 residential apartment development.
