How does e-learning through CantaNet and the Virtual Learning Network Community work? 

Who will be my teacher? Ifyouareenrolledinanonlinecourse,youre-teacherwillbefromanotherschoolinNewZealand.

How often will I see my teacher? Youwillhaveanhourlongvideoconferencingclasseachweek,andyour“e-teacher”willprovideanonlineclassroom(likea website)whereyouwillwork3-4hourseachweekin.Youre-teachermayholdextratutorialsthroughskypeoradobeconnectorsomeotherweb2tool.

How will I communicate or get work to and from my teacher?   Youwillbeabletocommunicateregularlywithyoure-teacherthroughemails,onlineforums,onlinechats,newsforums,

discussionboards,web2tools,skypeandtxtmessages.How do I receive work or send work to my e-teacher?  Youwillbeabletouploadyourassignments,assessments,testsandanyotherworkintoyouronlineclassroom.Youre-teacherwillmarkyourworkonlineandsenditbackthesameway.Yourteachermayalsoprovideyouwithsomepaperbasedresourcesandyouwillalsobeabletopurchase workbooksandstudyguidestosupportyourlearning.
