Second Grade Visits Rosh Yeshiva In Honor of Siyum

Rabbi Larson’s Second Graders went to visit the Rosh HaYeshiva in

honor of finishing their second Parasha. The Rosh HaYeshiva asked the Talmidim thought provoking questions, and gave wonderful answers to some of the boys’ own terrific questions. The Rosh HaYeshiva en-joyed hosting the class, which, of course, was

very well behaved. The Kidush Hashem contin-ued when Rabbi Larson surprised his boys with Slurpees at 7-11 in honor of their reaching 200 Super Shmegegi Points. Way to go

    boys!

    First Grade Tehillim Project

Mazal Tov to Clara Aquinin of Mrs. Stein’s First Grade on finishing the

entire Sefer Tehillim! In honor of her achievement, Clara was presented with a certificate, and will be given her very own personalized Sefer Tehillim to use and to cherish for many years to come.

Second Grade Puts On a Show

Mrs. Aquinin’s Second Grade girls had a busy week this week. After weeks of re-search and preparation, the students pre-

sented their Animal Habitat projects, in which each girl presented all about the habitat and characteristics, diet, habitat and be-havior of

the ani-mal she chose. The girls were also stars on stage, as they performed a terrific rendition of Charlotte’s Web! We

are so proud of our super stars and the way they worked together! Great job!

As the Rosh Yeshiva was dis-tributing dollar bills to the

Second Grade boys, both Dovid Shloimy Strauss and

Eli Armoza hurried to return an extra dollar that slipped from the Rosh Yeshiva’s hand into theirs!

  • Yeshiva Elementary School is proud to participate in the worldwide Masmidei HaSiyum program in antici-pation of the forthcoming Siyum HaShas of Daf Yomi. This program provides a platform for students to be a part of the Siyum through learning Chumash, Mish-nayos, and Gemara. Talmidim use their unique PINs to log their learning and earn tickets for daily, weekly, and monthly raffles with terrific prizes. There will also be a grand prize raffle, which will include tickets to Eretz Yisrael, as well as other great prizes. Mazel Tov to Dovi Kaganoff of the Sixth Grade for winning a weekly prize in a recent raffle! As explained in a separate flier dis-tributed to our Boys Division, all points earned over Shavuos will be doubled! Keep up the great learning!

The boys and girls of Nursery A and Nursery B put on their year-end presentations this week, for the viewing pleasure of their doting parents. The students exhibited many of the skills and knowledge they gained throughout the course of the school year in an adora-ble show of song and dance. After the presen-tations, the children and their parents enjoyed a delicious cake and fruit buffet.
