The Adventure:

As a team, plan and run a Youth Leadership Training workshop for either another group of Venturers or a younger Section.

Learning Outcomes:

• Gain awareness of various project management concepts regarding time management, planning meetings, organizing activities, and dealing with budgets

• Engage in collaborative learning experiences• Practise working with funds and a budget• Work with stakeholders when planning and running a project

Plan:

isn’t doing all the work?

Depending on when you will be running the course set up a timeline what needs to happen and when. (Ex. When will you start to promote the course, when will registration open and close, when all the equipment for the activities will be

collected. Etc.) Ensure that you each task has a specific person assigned to complete the task. You can also make this chart in excel or through another program if you that would work better for your team.
