Soliloquy

Can I love two beings at the same time

My heart asked my soul

Not knowing that my spirit was listening

Can my heart not feel when she kisses my lips endlessly

Beholding me gazing upon my very soul with her jadish eyes

With her this jade of emeralds of pearls of rare gems not found on earth

Palms to palms as our palms did kiss she held her hand for a moment

Her warmth filling my soul with her pure love !

Then she slid her hand slowly down mine feeling my every being

This sweetness upon my life; this princess of mine and mine alone !

Shall leave my world very soon leaving me in sadness

May love with happiness with peacefulness follow her

All the days of her life !


Does the sun not rise upon this earth and my world every morning !

O sweet puella with your long darkish brown hairs coy eyes girlish laughter

Upon the contours of my mind

My faithful enchantress my loyal apprentice my unwavering lady

Upon my life upon my heart upon the essence of my being

You have loved me fervently

You have sacrificed your happiness your youthfulness for me !

Even when I hurt your heart; I made you cry when you saw me kissing another

You did not complain; you did not accuse me of betrayal;

You believed me when I said it was just lust not love upon that kiss

This was a lie and your spirit knew it was a lie still you stayed with me

I dont know why !


Do the stars come out at night shinning across the deepness of celestial skies !

That sweet starlet with the cinnamon complexion and rosy plump lips

Speaking in perfect Latin insecure about herself but not about us !

Gee ! Does my heart palpitate; Gee ! Does my soul dance upon this universe

When she was when she is when she shall be with me again soon !

I once asked her, do you trust me?

Spontaneously loudly she said, of course I do !, her face almost mad

As if I had doubts in her with this question she did not like

And she too was taken away from me for now by jealous gods

But they do not know me

I am not of this world !

And on Valentines Day we did share togetherness; I gave her a gift

As she unwrapped it; as she thanked me with hugs and kisses and tears

It was all caught on film for posterity for my consolation of being apart her

Forevermore in the infinities of eternities !


Can a man with steadfast faith tell a mountain to move and it shall move !

Can a man a poet hopelessly in love this wretched man hopelessly in dreams

Deserve a second chance to love again !

For two days ago a Roman princess came into my life unannounced !

Verum romanum puella sincere romanum princeps spes et somnium

A true Roman girl a sincere Roman princess my hope and my dream

Has invaded my life my world as a marching army destroying my powers

Making me weak with her smiles; making me weak with her touch !

O Jupiter O Saturn O Moon O Earth beware !

One mightier than thee one mightier than a thousand stars has just landed

Upon this earth upon this world upon my life !

This beautiful Roman Princess with the long light brown hair

With the light tanned natural skin

With those light brown eyes

With those cautious coy cunning pinkish lips of hers

With that gentle honeyed voice of hers

Has just landed upon my heart upon my soul upon my world ! ! !
