What is Harvesting Smiles? Harvesting Smiles is a grain donation campaign to benefit individuals with disabilities at Camp High Hopes. Farmers, elevators, and co-ops can donate grain, instead of cash, to maximize tax benefits.
What is Camp High Hopes?Camp High Hopes is located in Sioux City, Iowa and provides fun, safe, and adaptive recreational experiences for children, teens, and adults with disabilities, special needs, and chronic illnesses. Campers come from across Siouxland, and as far away as Sioux Falls, Omaha, and Des Moines to attend camp sessions. It’s a year-round camp for people of all ages who have a physical or intellectual disability. Campers create smiles while challenging themselves and their perceived limitations by participating in adaptive activities such as archery, canoeing, boating, fishing, climbing, rec & games, arts & crafts, and nature education.
