Dear all,

We know you have been waiting for this moment for already a long

time. And, finally we are happy to announce that the call for

organisers of the 77th International Session of the European Youth

Parliament is officially out!

We together with our Core Team have been working for 13 months.

Many important things have already been done, yet different

milestones are to be completed in the upcoming 9 months.

Organising such a large scale event on a high level is definitely not

an easy task, and it requires certain level of commitment. However,

it offers one an opportunity for a personal growth too. Today we are

ready to begin this mutually beneficial cooperation and help all the

team-members to reach their personal goals while making Kyiv

2014 a success.

We look for 15+ talented EYPers who are ready to commit

themselves to one of the greatest events EYP-Ukraine has ever

held.

We offer you to join an organising team where one can experience

a real professional environment, discover their talents and gain

inestimable experience valuable in and outside of the EYP world.

We seek to create an enjoyable and developing atmosphere for all

the organisers.

However, we do expect something in return: commitment, self-

discipline and mutual respect.

Being an organiser also entails complying with certain practicalities:

ability to devote at least 5 hours of your free time weekly to

organising duties;

ability to attend at least two 2-day organising meetings in

March 2014 and September 2014;

ability to stick to the deadlines and fulfil the promises;

presence at the session;

motivation to make the session a success.

Being an organiser, however, does not require:

permanent residence in Kyiv or even Ukraine;

significant past organising experience.

Kyiv 2014 will take place between October, 31st and November,

9th. The organisers will be required to arrive 1-2 days prior the event.

The organising team consisting of 15 to 25 individuals will be divided

into 4 sub-teams specialising in particular area of organising (PR, HR,

Venues and Logistics, Food and Supplies) and taking care of

certain session events each. Each of the sub-teams will be led by

an experienced Team Leader. Pre-session work will comprise of

individual and sub-team working plans, meetings within sub-teams,

general organising meetings, organising weekends and separate

non-EYP related workshops.

You are welcome to apply as an organiser or Team Leader from

February, 13th till February, 27th 23:59 EET. We strongly encourage

you to be careful with the deadline. Late submission may influence

the outcome of selection. Please, note that the call is not limited to

Ukrainian applicants only. All the applicants will be personally

notified about the results of selection shortly after the deadline.
