Consequently, we all "eat on ourown" while here, thus avoiding double meal expense.The afternoon of our first day includes a motor trip through the Wilshiredistrict t o romantic Hollywood and Beverly Hil ls, especially t o see thehomes of the screen people. A little less modern than cars designatedas Pullman Standard Sleepers, they are not air conditioned but theyare equipped with the same travel conveniences s e a t s by day andberths by night, clean, fresh bed linens, comfortable mattresses, icewater on tap, dressing rooms, electric lighting, and porter service thesame as Standard cars. The main difference is that Tourist Sleeperaccommodations are offered at reduced rates that represent unusualvalues in summer vacation travel.

How to Extend Your TourIt is a simple matter to prolong your visit on the Pacific Coast.

Merely leave one tour at Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle andjoin a later party for the return trip. Or you may use a tour for yourgoing trip and return independently, and vice versa. Apparel and BaggageWeather on these tours is almost universally warm, therefore we

would suggest lightweight sport outfits for day wear, with comfort-able shoes for walking and, of course, change of costume for dinnerand evening pleasures (not formal attire). I t would be well also tohave cold cream for sunburn and chapped lips.
